Indeed, they made a pigs ear of that.

They opened up the retail offer but gave nothing in the way of PR to promote it.

They need to shuffle their board in my opinion, the company needs to move from development focused now to sales focused.

Since the nomination, the company revealed it is selling a 51% stake in Creo Europe to Micro-Tech for €36.7 million. This business was acquired in 2020 as a route to market in Europe. This deal will enhance the distribution and manufacturing capabilities of the business and provide funds to expand the group.

Creo Medical has also embarked on a fundraising. So far, £12 million has been raised from a placing at 24p/share and up to £5 million more can come from a retail offer which closes on 17 October. This should be enough cash to move the business towards profitability. "

I don't see much movement now until after the 17th and some kind of update.

Lamborghini sold just over 10000 cars in 2023 with a profit of €723m

Ferrari sold 13000 cars in 2023 with a profit of just under €1.3b @ 27% margin per car. They have a market cap 60 x of Aston.

Aston are running around 20% margin on 6500 cars estimated for 2024.

Makes their market cap look very low and debt easy to manage going forward.

I did consider taking at 1.13 and sitting it out until the 30th. That date offers some risk as we all know.

However, I don't think the low price will last.

Yes production could hit more delays, even if it does though I believe desire for the cars is building.

Yes, there could be a cash flow hickup

This all makes this company interesting. At this price I'd rather be in than out.

The product is just so good now.

It seems a common trait, bitterness when a trade goes bad.

Its a risky game, only play it if you are able to apply logic instead of emotion.

On average I hold 30 to 40 positions and resist piling into one no matter how attractive it looks.

Every day some share or other takes a beating.

If AML bombs I won't break a sweat, on balance though I see more upside than down over the next 12m from its current price.

I didn't hold any prior to around April this year.

Traded the volatility many times. Mainly buying in the 140s and selling in the 150s.

Then bought back at around 132, sold a 168

Bought back in at 105

Now planning on holding until at least spring.

I accept there is risk with these on the production side, I believe in the product and market though.

I give no opinion though, that is up to each individual to assess.

LMVH sales are down because many buyers of their goods are not wealth people but people who aspired to wealth.

AML are not taking on Ferrari, they have been around longer and the product sits in an alternative market position.

Ferrari have continually increased production numbers when stating many times they will not.

They used to make a few hundred cars a year, then 3000, then 8000. Then set a limit of 10000, then increased that.

They are though aware they risk devaluing the brand if keep increasing production so now keep increasing the price instead. At a PE of something like 55 they have limited upside left.

Aston have headroom to go with market space to take it.
