@jon39
Sorry, I meant chairman not CEO as in Stroll.
Re. these cars capabilities now. Yes, I hear you. I enjoyed the Ferrari I had, it was a real experience to drive and people enjoyed seeing / hearing it. Practically though it wasn't really suited to UK roads. I did more miles in others cars, a Caterham as great driving dynamics at lower speeds on back roads.
An older 911 as narrower, good to drive and attracts no attention.
An XJS as it is just a lovely car to be in even in the usual traffic.
My question was always though, which would I take on a euro road trip.
The Caterham - no good on a motorway or in the rain but almost worth the pain once in the mountains.
The XJS not perfect for the best roads but sooo nice to travel in.
Driving the Ferrari on a motorway, which is unavoidable just seemed wrong. A waste.
The new Aston though, I'd take that with no doubts.
For fun, I challenged myself to make enough on their shares to buy a free one. Still some way to go yet.
I am fortunate I only bought/sold/bought/sold this year, so I am up overall. Now though I am not holding enough and those are @ 105
I wait to see which way the wind blows, they still have the potential to double but I'd need to buy more again. The product I believe in, the politics are more my concern right now.
