I do not believe the blip today has anything specific to do with AML .

There have been moves across a lot of stocks today, both up and down.

We really need more money flowing into UK markets. Otherwise there remains an element of selling peter to buy paul then back again.

The forth coming interest rate cuts will help, as will the settling of US markets once a better understanding of Trumps mind games is known.

I get the frustrations over the directors pay and rewards. You could easily take a view they are cruising along with a champagne lifestyle funded by investors hard earned cash.

It is time they proved their worth or receive a shake up. There are bigger fish than us invested here who you would like to think are keeping an eye on progress.

Especially those that funded the last raise.

That aside, I still think the future for the product is excellent and that a takeover is most likely.

I think AML are playing the EV game very well. Avoiding it for as long as possible. I see a possibility of the 2030/35 UK /EU bans getting moved. Politics are changing as is the push back from consumers and manufacturers.

Money spent now on EV development is a waste. Tech will have moved on massively in 5 years time.

Aston will have lots of time yet to milk ICE sales, longer in certain regions than in Europe. There could yet be exclusions for limited production cars.

So they are 100% right to focus on the here and now.

Later, they can pick from a range of partners to pair with and use EV tech that others have paid to develop.

As for building in the USA. I doubt it, the buyers want the British element of the cars to remain. Unless it became a cost / tax incentive.

Before I invested in 2024 I joined a number of Owners forums as part of my research. Both in the UK and The US

Thought I would give a brief summary on the chatter .

1. Lots of discussions on trim combinations by those configuring orders.

2. Deliveries in December were arriving within estimated times to the surprise of many.

3. Owners are unanimous in their praise for the quality of fit and finish.

4. Only a few have discussed driving the new models so far but those are very happy. No complaints I can see other than one car getting minor damage during unloading which was rectified by the dealer.

So it all looks positive to me, production must be rolling along and folk appear to be ordering their own spec cars. I have seen no posts about buying new cars from dealer stock.

I remain optimistic for the up coming trading statement and more so for the one that follows.

Price is low on Crism as progress is a little way off due to completion of further trials etc. Unless of course a takeover comes out of the blue.

Aston Martin always were for the very wealthy. Trying to produce cheaper cars is where they went wrong. Exclusive image and cheap are not a match made in heaven.

If some one wants a lower priced Aston they can buy a used one.

Ferrari do not make cheap cars and do very well out of it. Aston's are still very good value in comparison.

Brand values and image are critical to success. When chavy 2nd league footballers were buying Astons a few years back it tarnished the marque.

Aston are once again very desirable.
