Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
I had hoped for something like this with the announcement last week. We are seeing a good upward movement with no retrenchment for now. 2 year's worth of cash in the bank, no debt, drilling in 9 months and (hopefully) other farmout to come, I don't see a reason why this run cannot continue for a while more. Very happy with my recent nibble, closing in on my break even point.... after 5 years. Good luck
not too shabby at all, may the fabled bull run have commenced?
I had another little nibble on the ISEQ for 0.16. All of the right noises are being made by all of the right people at the moment. Newgrange farmout would be very nice but I am very interested to see what lies below Barryroe... 2019 could be a very nice year indeed. Buy
Indeed, unfortunately I don't even have a spare 2k for anything at the moment, but nice to see it rise.... finally.
We did indeed, I don't get why the reaction is so muted. 9 million cash on top of the original deal now, 10 million later, more wells, ministerial consents and a drilling programme in a couple of months. What's not to like?
"We are developing our Barryroe asset"... an RNS confirming the farmout would be nice!
Two months into the target quarter. Well we have all been here before.... "watch this space". Here's looking for some news tomorrow in hope as opposed to expectation.
Everything upbeat and positive, except that small matter of the share price. 6 to 7 weeks should clarify the Barryroe farmout and get a bit of momentum behind the other irons in the fire. in particular, I like the Newgrange story so far.
I agree, having another little nibble today
Yeah, an Irish solution to an Irish problem. Idiots. Perhaps that renewable utopia will exist in some of our lifetimes, but it's not here now. The oil and gas has to come from somewhere, why not off shore Ireland.. assuming they can get it out at an economic cost ( which I do!)
Nice operational update, I don't recall any other of the many surveys taken over the years finishing 2 months ahead of time or any mention of time for that matter in thr RNS, someone appears to be in a hurry. An "exciting exploration venture" indeed. The 64000 USD question remains, can they close a farmout on it? Recent form suggests that they can indeed.
I would have expected to see who bought those 20 odd million shares weeks ago, or who sold them by now
All should be revealed in an hour, it could be a very good day indeed.
Thank you for your service Rocklawn!
Handbags aside, I wonder if, in the absence of any news, this share will go higher.
Me too! I have been in here for years so I am used to disappointment. However I do feel that this time next year PVR will be in a far better position. It is more jam tomorrow, but at least Baby has gone to the Chinese shop and bought some jam and he is on his way back... though he is, as always, taking his sweet time about it
Anyone else hear Tony catching himself saying "FIVE" farmouts at 13.08?? http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/stocktube/9130/barryroe-breakthrough-a-great-deal-for-providence-resources-9130.html May have been a slip of the tongue. Interesting presentation nonetheless. Onwards and upwards!
Saudi Arabia signaling that it wants $80 oil for its IPO ( probably early Q2 2019). What it wants and what it gets are two different things of course. Any increase can only further enhance PVR’s asset portfolio. Mid 2019 is looking like a good time to be drilling 3 wells!
They may have just been below the notification requirement for a while so may not have eaten 33% of the shares available to PI’s. In any event, still good news. Onwards and upwards hopefully, every dog (of a share) has its day!
