Mine is highest forecast so far and Fleccy lowest at £1.10.
Fleccy,
Is your prediction £1.265 or £1.25 ?
Interim results out on 2nd November.
What is your forecast for the share price at close of play Friday 3rd November.
I will start with £1.33.8p
@Primetime51
Hopefully Altice DT and Blackrock - our hopefully trilogy of Saviours
Message from Private Frazer:-
We’re Doomed
Message ends.
Closing options and book balancing at the last trading day of the quarter takes things out of us mere mortals hands.
May all our books balance favourably (one day soon…).

Larry,
I think the deficient will reduce or show to have reduced in the next review.
At times the newcomer could stumble across this Share Chat and be forgiven for thinking they walked into a Dating Chat up Group - and a very boring one at that .
Meanwhile away from the Playground- Mr Drahi is out of the market (without making a Takeover bid) until late November - and why would he whilst he can fill his boots at these low prices.
Everything could be adding up to a very Merry Christmas then.
Sensible comments in reply invited.
With lines like this on a Friday:-
15-Sep-23 16:35:26 117.00 97,444,484 Sell* 117.00 117.10 114m UT
I think the share price has done well to stay above £1.17 And starts the week coming on the rise.
Regarding the Bid - it will come without warning and imho at a weekend ……
Hope everyone is happy with their extra shares or extra cash - and just like Sid Vicious sang ‘I did it my way’.

May you all do exactly you want - buy and/or sell or even Spend your Dividends on last minute Christmas Shopping.
I am buying into my ISA and releasing excess holdings in my non ISA for selling either now or some time in the future.
What ever you choose - good luck - good fortune and May you be free of any criticism in YOUR personal choice.
Next stop February GLA.
Just before Q4 results in May I asked what those on here thought the SP would be on 18/5/23.
This is what I posted on the day the proposed dividend to be paid this week was announced three short months ago…….
The question was asked a few weeks ago - where do you see BT closing price on May 18th - Results day.
Here are the predictions:-
Any riders ignored as the above was the question
Wetherboy 158.9
Ally Bally 165.5
Coronation 169.3
Blue Pete 170
Son of Mandy 175
Kiwitwo. 175.5
Expat Welsh 178.8
Range 19.9P
Nearest Wetherboy just out by 18.15p on closing price of £1.4075
Meanwhile in the sensible corner of the playground ……..
What do others use as their primary BT news gathering ?
I use :-

Is this the common view or is there any better ?

I think it will be green next Wednesday Thursday and Friday as the the div reinvestment heroes fill their boots.
GLA
Yep £2 does not sound a bargain !!
PLUSNET is of course a rebadged BT owned service - so same line from MDF to my house and probably the same DSLAM in the Exchange.
Service has been brilliant and as it is from Sheffield the home of The Human League and Heaven 17 - the greatest Electro Bands the U.K. have ever produced - I would expect nothing less.
I had to leave BT as I could not separate my landline from my Broadband being charged separately .
I ended my account - managed for a few days with my mobile (Lebara) and the generosity of my next door neighbour sharing her Wi-Fi through the wall :-)
I then joined Plusnet for half the price of my existing service for EXACTLY the same.
It is very hard to stay loyal and true when you are suffering from a sore head from banging your head against the wall.
Otherwise Dividend next week- GLA.
3 x £100 ye ha
The bid window remains open whilst Altice - DT and Orange hold c.40% of the shares.
Unless you are on DRIP you do NOT have to buy shares on dividend day.
Good Luck to All.
The number of daily trades seem to be falling?
Have our market makers gone on their holidays?
Will be observing how this trend continues - expect a lot a trades around Dividend Day but apart from that are we. becoming a ‘boring’ stock.
Sensible comments welcomed - bickering posts boring ………….
On Dividend Day (as previously explained many times) my dividends in my ISA will be a fixed amount £x.
The share price on this day will determine how many shares I get.
Thus
@£1.15 = 4389
@£1.20 = 4206
@£1.25 = 4037
The same amount buys differing number of shares as ‘x’ is a constant and purchase price is a variable.
I am sure that we all want the share price to be high ‘on the day we sell’ - but for some reason some of us want the share price NOT to be any higher than now on the day we buy.
However I will be delighted if a bid came in the day before as my holding is £1,000 per penny on or off the share price. The bid price lowest point is governed by the amounts Altice or DT paid previously.
Good Luck to All in whatever strategy you follow. To wish potential spoiling to anyone’s plans justifies my use of the word Petulant . Amen.
I am a Pensioner.
I am not a member of the CWU.
What I comment is my own strategy - not advice purely comment. I am not encouraging anyone to follow suit. I would not be disappointed obviously if the price rises. I have my maximum 6 figure holding in BT. I hold share hot in and outside my ISA - I reinvest my share in my Isa when Dividend payments are made. I then dispose (usually at a profit to the ISA purchase) . I will NOT be selling my BT ISA shares until my target price is achieved. If the dividend reinvestment price is high or low my strategy will continue until that time. So buying at the current low share price would be advantageous to me now and obviously later when the price rise cycle reaches my target.
I have shared this with you as the comments on here suggest that some on this board are spies. I am not. I have no loyalty to BT - this is purely buisness.
Like it or hate it - it is my method. Respect it like an adult - not a spoilt petulant child .
