Over the past year our local microbiology lab has increasing switched to PCR testing of faecal samples for identification of gut pathogens, rather than trying to spot them on microscopy or culture them. Also replaced blood serology in the case of H Pylori.
A reminder that PCR has a huge future outside of Covid, and Novacyt are well positioned to develop and grow their business.

Agree with the thoughts. I doubled up at 57p to average down, but still in the red.
I think ABDX will do well in short medium term but AVCT more exciting longer term

When interests in shares carrying 10% or more of the voting rights of a class have been acquired by an offeror (i.e. a bidder) in the offer period and the previous 12 months, the offer must include a cash alternative for all shareholders of that class at the highest price paid by the offeror in that period. Further, if an offeror acquires for cash any interest in shares during the offer period, a cash alternative must be made available at that price at least.
If the offeror acquires an interest in shares in an offeree company (i.e. a target) at a price higher than the value of the offer, the offer must be increased accordingly.

Maybe I'm missing something, but
1. FIAT currencies are at least partly backed up by gold, the mining of which is neither carbon neutral nor renowned for its environmental and political benefits
2. I'm sure I heard Elon had something to do with SpaceX: maybe hugely worthwhile but again hardly carbon neutral

The news isn't really news to holders in that we know what we are expecting. The rise I think is due mainly to more people hearing about this share, and the lack of available shares. If this gets easier to trade then expect more to pile in. But that is just my opinion and not advice

As you say can be hard to see price: HL will show you a price albeit with a large spread - the price you pay likely to be somewhere within that; and HL you have to ring to place the trade which means dealing costs higher

I agree - having been in from the Covid bottom, I recently jumped out in mid 300's thinking I'd made a tidy profit (and having seen similar rises with eg BooHoo fade away), but almost instantly regretted it, and have bought back in today.

I've got a small holding picked up on a whim before delisting. No rush to sell : planning on holding for hopefully big returns.

I can undestand why everyone is upset at the poor quality tweets. Today's was more alarming as it was incredibly lazy, deliberately misleading or simply written by someone who had no understanding of the science or the product. I presume the tweet on Friday night was an ill-judged attempt at humour.
The share price may fall on Monday in response, but that's really only a concern if you were planning to sell on Monday for a profit, in which case you should have done so on Friday.
However, short term shenanigans like this aside, what is going to determine the share price is producing and selling tests. Once news lands about that - either way - then a few ill considered tweets will be irrelevant.
So, IMHO this will prove to be a storm in a tea cup.

PS - I always seem to forget the opinion tab.
Having derisked my initial investment at 13.4, and topsliced some profits at 23.8, my finger is hovering over the buy button. I think price may have bottomed for now or may drop a little further. We're dealing in opinions and probablilties, not certainties here. As time goes on I'm less interested generally in quick bucks and more in preservation of capital and longer term growth.
Drill results will obviously have massive effect in due course. You don't get rewards like this without risks, but Helium seems a good investment.

I think a lot of it is people shifting funds / profits from these stocks into recovery stocks. People who invested last year have seen massive rises and now think in short to medium term they'll make more money in other stocks.
Longer term it is likely that many of these green energy stocks will do well, and those that have spare funds may consider adding to their holding.
Intersting that there was a mini rally in several of these - ITM, Ceres, Novacyt, AFC before falling away again.
I'm sure someone wise once suggested patience was a virtue in investing
