We had a single buy for 125k yesterday, paid above ask.

If the bullishness of that trade alone doesn’t slap you across the face, nothing will.

Prior to them selling over 60% shares held by ii’s with only 12% available to general public (almost 10% owned by individual insiders…non of whom have sold).

Only reason for large drop after initial large drop is ii selling their stock cheap, as they often do.

From a purely risk vs reward play it’s worth putting in some cash you have lying around! This 5 bags on sniff of good news, whether that’s negotiation opening again or a TR1 indicating someone is buying at lows (plenty of block 500k buys last 2 days).

Once the seller is fully out then watch this fly.

Someone has been picking up 500k blocks all day, over 20 of them.

If a buyer TR1 lands tomorrow then minimum expectation is a penny.

Seller is selling for any price he can (is usually the case for institutions) all large delayed trades today are likely theirs. Once confirmed out (looking at todays volume i imagine he’s done) things will settle down and a sniff of renegotiation will see it move up quicker than it did this morning! All imo!

Institutions have the most to lose here with over 63% of shares owned by them (albeit less now with Harwood selling).

General public only account for 12% of issued share capital with the rest owned by individual insiders etc.

Why didn’t they sell knowing negotiations were breaking down? (An institution like Harwood wouldn’t know but you can bet your house the individual closely aligned with the company would).

Something smells fishy…..statements like these only add to the grey area!! ‘Open to re-engaging’ …….ok……!!! Sounds like it’s worth a punt at a measly 400k mcap!!

But on Monday, Hostmore said it was no longer pursuing a takeover following a management change which means it would not be able to collect royalties from the TGI Fridays brand.

This could affect the future revenue of the business, with the royalty stream being the main attractive feature for Hostmore in pursuing the deal, it said.

While it is no longer actively pursuing an acquisition, the two firms said they were “open to re-engaging discussions” in the right circumstances.

“Having operated under the TGI Fridays brand in the UK for some time, Hostmore had been trying to buy the global master franchise owner,” Mould explained.

- it’s obviously not a safe investment opportunity, however as seen this morning..if the tables turn, this’ll be back up in the multiple pennies very quickly!!

I can’t imagine a director buying substantial amounts at 15p less than 3 months ago just for this to go full belly up so soon. Clearly a distressed holder earlier was blind sided selling 9m shares at 0.20p - he’s the reason for the drop today.

Either way, there’s safer investments available such as MKA but no harm in putting a few quid in here and hoping for the best as any positive turn of events will definitely earn many multiples of current prices!
