They’ve already produced and sold gold from Bonanza, where they now have:
Stephen Birrell, Chief Executive Office of Nativo, commented:
"It's great to have boots on the ground again at Bonanza. The team is now fully prepared to begin this important preparatory phase. The Bonanza Vein Study is the key workstream required to develop an optimised mine plan. This phase of work is expected to take approximately 30 days. Meanwhile, Nativo has initiated tendering for the contract mining firm to restart operations, taking advantage of record gold prices.
Along side high net worth investors, a tiny mcap, directors taking payments in shares, record high gold prices, tailings recovery, their own processing plant due to come online not long after gold production begins and the biggest of the lot, the not so distant debt restructuring that’s now 0% interest and pushed out to 2032 or a 35m mcap (whichever comes first) - a 35m mcap achieve-able on modestly decent news flow, I’m certain this is what they’re aiming for near-medium term (before the end of 2026).
Knowing all this, it’s still totally understandable for those yet to invest to see what’s on the menu (ie results due within the next 2 n abit weeks) before taking the plunge given where the mcap fell from (even if it means paying around a penny, which is likely given how quickly this moves prior/on news), there’ll still be plenty of money to be made from that level with a lot more confidence than there is now.
