The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I wouldn't have sold if the price was going up.
I'm offering a different opinion to yours. Mine is based on what's happened yours is not. I'll post when I want.
- 82% SP decline since trading re-commenced
- No business or pipeline news
- Ott investment % has declined
I'll guess now like you. Dilution next. SP falls a lot until Sefton, the Fund etc get their money. ICON is no more, or RTO RNS lands.
My posts don't change the SP, the actions / intentions of the BOD will.
Ott was a major shareholder before administration but now hold less than 5%. EHGOF will continue to sell to reclaim their monies. For the long term holders I really hope there is a plan in store that will return your investments to above pre administration level. The BOD need to communicate much better with shareholders - or maybe there isn't a plan aside from transferring investor money to themselves and the Fund.
Hi Maidit308,
Consolidation and further dilution (this was always going to happen) but with limited updates from the board since trading recommenced has warning signals flashing. In hindsight I should have sold straightaway. I'm invested elsewhere now but wish all investors the best
