'analysts', yes they need updating, it is clear that they have no more information than the rest of the market... income has taken a significant hit, wow that is insightful, Q3 how damning, we can take comfort now the Revenue Tap can now be turned on... RI now only appears to be a wet dream, this is apparent in your second paragraph...
...stop being a donkey, no one cares what you think as your 3,000 posts have amounted to nothing..!
Hundreds of vaccinated foreign tourists arrived in the Thai capital for quarantine-free travel after the Southeast Asian nation approved visitors from more than 60 countries, including China and the United States.
Several European nations are also on the list as Thailand, one of Asia's most popular holiday destinations, looks to capitalise on the approach of winter in the northern hemisphere.
In Sydney, hundreds of citizens were greeted by family and friends as they became the first since April 2020 to arrive from abroad without a permit or the need to quarantine.

Grant Shapps tweet;
“Great news for those travelling to Europe!
The NHS Covid Pass is now linked up with the EU Digital Covid Certificate, meaning that it’ll be easier to travel to all EU countries by using tech to digitally recognise your vaccine status.”
..it must be the killer blow for the shorters...
damn right about that longterm.. :)
.. seriously I think the RI point has been addressed and has now passed, there was a time when the opportunity would have made sense but we are well beyond that point now…
@ Dan, I agree with everything you are saying, but is an Ri the route to expand, pay dividends and manage pensions in a proper fashion… it would seem far fetched to me..!
So let’s gets this straight, dissolve the debts with an RI, then with cash they are making what are going to do… buy shares back would be high on the objectives…!
RI makes absolutely no sense and is a weaponised tool for derampers and a shortcut for brokers accounting… this is not a normal scenario, business is returning like a tap being turned on..
‘We won’t tap City for emergency funds,’ says BA owner Luis Gallego
RI is a figment of the deramper’s imagination and a short cut to solve finances from brokers point of view, brokers don’t have skin in the game, it makes the balance sheet look pretty in the short term but l don’t think it aligns we the company overall objectives..!
Looking at companies like BP, the are still paying back 10 years on from Deep Water Horizon… with extra monies, now they are paying back a dividend, they are choosing to buy back shares… it doesn’t make sense to me if a company chooses to buy back shares in the future, which is quite common, they would choose dilution now coming out of a crisis…
my feeling over these reasons is why there has been a change in CFOs...!
@dan, but dilution isn't paying back monies either it is just another way out in the short term that doesn't do anything but make the balance sheet look pretty... l am not sure this is how IAG would like to proceed especially after managing so well up to now..!
come the US opening and a new wave of Brokers reports in November, it will be interesting to see how they will reprice new targets given the new climate of unrestricted air travel...

personally, l am looking forward to a positive week, one thing to remember is that there has been no forwards guidance given due to covid and an unfolding story in motion, therefore there will be no miss on targets... as the US opening is ahead of us, the first trading day after results, l suspect any data will support why there has been no cry for capital and the SP will ready itself for a new chapter of revenue, abw...

"once this eventually gets to 200p"
..but on the other hand l cannot see this share remaining under 200p..!
it seemed a bit of a clue that there were other plans, saying on one hand "‘‘We won’t tap City for emergency funds,’" and bringing on board NC..
...is the plan to raise capital issuing Green Bonds which Nicholas Cadbury has experience in and has been brought into the company for..?
i am just guessing, but the increase in revenue will correct a lot of issues and it is a matter of tidying up the balance sheet, maybe with a green edge..!
