The Market Wanted Commercial Proof — Today It Got Some

Worth remembering where we are. Since the February spike to over 1p, the market has steadily derated HE1 from 0.80s, to 0.60s, and recently into the mid-0.50s. The reason wasn't that the assets disappeared; it was that investors wanted proof of commercial execution rather than more expectations.

Today's RNS is significant because it moves Galactica another step along that path. For the first time, there is a formal helium offtake agreement in place covering production from the Pinon Canyon Plant. No, the market still doesn't have volumes, revenues or a long-term contract, which is why this may not trigger an immediate rerating. But it does answer an important question: is there a customer willing to take the helium being produced? The answer is now yes.

The market has been waiting for the story to progress from discovery, to production, to sales, to cash flow. Today's update is not the end of that journey, but it is arguably the most commercially meaningful update HE1 has released for some time.

Good explanation and true that every executed trade requires both a buyer and seller. Also true that many platforms classify trades by where they print relative to the spread, so labels can be wrong.

The bit I’d add is that the important question is often not whether a trade was ultimately matched between a buyer and seller (it always is), but **who was aggressive** and what happened to price afterwards.

If someone repeatedly lifts the ask, demand is forcing sellers higher. If someone repeatedly hits the bid, supply is forcing buyers lower. Over one trade the buy/sell labels can be noise, but over thousands of trades combined with spread behaviour, Level 2, UTs and price reaction, patterns start appearing.

For example:

* Reported sells exceed buys but price holds firm → possible absorption

* Reported buys dominate but price stalls → possible distribution/capping

* Large volume with little movement → inventory transfer rather than trend confirmation

So I’d say trade classifications aren’t useless, just imperfect. The context around them is where a lot of the information sits.

Good numbers from Alien Metals Limited — high grade but not huge scale yet.

Feels like a “trade the reaction” RNS rather than instant re-rate.

Watching if this move holds or fades once early buying settles.

Today has had clear selling into strength, which is typical post-RNS flow on AIM. However, we’ve also seen strong absorption around 0.31, so it looks more like a rotational session rather than a clean sell-off. Key now is whether 0.31 holds into the next sessions or gives way.

Good to see MB01-N now coming through as a defined resource getting Mbe past 1Moz is a solid milestone and shows the scale building here.

Still worth keeping expectations grounded alongside that:

• Resource is currently all Inferred

• Step-out drilling ongoing, so more to prove on continuity

• Further work needed before this moves toward development

Plenty to be positive about — just a case of letting the next rounds of data confirm the bigger picture.

Plenty to be excited about with the upcoming MRE and licence — just a case of letting the data confirm the story.

There is some truth in the fact when BOD have very little skin in the game, you do have to stand back and ask yourself why?

I have invested in other AIM's, and when the tough gets going they took salary sacrifices and awarded themselves shares in lieu of their salary.

When BOD 's take these types of actions you know they are aligned with shareholders and they really believe in the company and the outcome. They might not always be right, but they are demonstrating integrity and that they are taking the necessary actions to strengthen the company and its future.

Sadly the HE1 BOD's do not appear to be demonstrating these qualities. Happy to be corrected if i have missed something along the way.

I watched the December meeting and they suggested they would be looking at other avenues of funding not traditional placings, looks like that did not materialise, that's my recollection.

Since the end of December there have been opportunities to make money, started with 0.35 in November , January / February bounced to 1.00, then dropped to 0.50, hovered 0.50-0.70's so yes there are many opportunities, AIM, HE1 has to be traded, it is not a buy and hold, once you understand this and accept it, as Mcfly said there is money to be made, just don't buy and hold and become attached to the share. Don't get sucked in by the noise, set a buy and sell target and stick to it. This is not advice, DYOR

Sadly that is the AIM market, nothing from Mcfly, probably sold up already on the open bell :-)

0.60 has support but if we break this then who knows where this will go
