Do not discount NEXT. They have some very nice big shops which they use to their advantage to convert to spaces with concessions like coffee shops, bridal services, spas, even a Ford showroom. The future of retail has to provide a more engaging experience and they are perfectly positioned to do so in the next few years. Watch this space, for me the price is cheap and I am loaded. The management are one of the most down to earth folks I have seen.

Musamura On what basis do you think that the buyback has commenced? Do you have any evidence? Unless you can actually prove what you say I would say all that is coming out from you is a load of hot air! Before you go on critisising people with negative comments take a look closer to home...Ι would call some of the comments you make ramping up without any evidence. I have on a few occasions analysed ASO's accounts and have said my opinions about how the owners extract cash out of the company without relying on a thriving share price. As for the rest of your questions I honestly cannot understand what you are on about.

I am with you and was thinking of topping up last week my ISA with NXT, as there seems to be a pattern now of the share price increasing closer to the ex-div date and then sharply falling down after trading statements

Shares price has increased by 4-5% over the last 2 days and this board is so utterly quiet. Is this because of the upcoming ex-div date or is there something else we do not know? LTH here

Hmm allow me to be extremely sceptical. The owners are working for their own success and they do not want as you say a speculator because he just might ask for a bit more transparency...That is my opinion. This belief is enforced by the numerous connected transactions reported which are masquerading as synergies with very healthy markups and interest rates. I said it before and I will say it again. The owners are extracting premium out of this company through transactions with their connected businesses at above market rates in my opinion. The old directors that are remaining have no option but to approve otherwise they loose their positions and their nice little earners. You must be the only one here and in amongst the silent few remaining shareholders that believes this company will make money for shareholders. This is at best naive (I hope it is only naivety). And before you ask again why don't i sell up. I am sitting on a big loss here and waiting to see how it plays out. I have written these losses long time ago and have re-couped them through other investments with reliable and transparent companies.

How can you be so certain musamura? Is it the yogurt that gives you crystal ball powers or do you have access to info the rest of us don't. I have seen many reverse splits and most of them even for big companies have resulted in less value for PIs. This company will not be an exception, especially as from what I see the owners are in it to extract maximum gain playing within the rules but not to the benefit of all investors. I have seen many outfits playing this game. Related party transactions, engineered price drops, placements, reverse splits etc etc. All by the book tricks to extract value for management and majority shareholders

Hi Snowhouse I think you mention in your post that after reverse split existing stock options holders i.e. the MNG lot, will be able to exercise. Now the exercise price I think is 3.6p. After the reverse split assuming it is 100-1 the price should theoretically be in todays mid valuation 195p. Similarly in my simple mind the exercise price should be 360p. However I do not know what the rules are per se and maybe yes they may be able to exercise thus dumping a whole load of stock in the market. If that happens that only goes to prove my theory that this company as far as PIs are concerned is dead in the water and that owners are in it for their own profit at the expense of everyone else. Someone with more knowledge on rules please disprove my theory re exercise rights.

So reading at the RNS all we really need is to move Britain for this season a couple of degrees north and then Next profits should be taking off - Shouldn't be that difficult with Brexit not holding this country back anymore :)
