When there’s far more attractive commercial and strategic options for near term natural gas storage, IM isn’t even up there, never has been. Stacks of mothballed options for a fraction of the cost, better ROI, less dependencies and risk. More important, they’re already on the grid.

Finger in the air isn’t it, not sure even JW knows, either way it’s 5-8 years away if he started today, which isn’t happening especially with all the other legal and regulatory requirements that need closing out first, some of which haven’t even started . Hardly a tactical solution to the alleged immediate challenge.

Commercially cheaper along with being better placed strategically, more sense to make it “Safe” along with the other mothballed storage. Don’t need more “built” for Gas. Plenty about.

If you don’t like what you read or hear then there’s a simple option, mute or block. What you don’t like hearing is balance and facts. In the current climate both logistically and commercially it’s not viable, period. The list of enablers is VAST, and you’re seemingly either ignorant to them or just sticking your head in the sand. You don’t own these boards so refrain from telling people what to post. Regardless what happens with the ML in the courts, it is not the “Green light” far from it in fact.

Already plenty of mothballed storage if it’s needed, fraction of the cost, quicker to mobilise and already connected to the grid. Far more attractive options out there commercially. I think you keep forgetting that there’s way more outstanding permissions also. Added bonus is that they’re all managed by professional, established organisations and not a compulsive liar.

The fact that the loan goes to the LA and the executive is one point, who are against fossil fuel investment. Bills are very open ended, they have to be as not to discriminate. The phrase “Gas” covers many items.

Good luck with that. You can’t read that in silo without looking at the content of the entire bill. :)

Point to note. They don’t invest in fossil fuel infrastructure.
