Tried a dummy sell and got offered £0.493p so a tight spread!

I’ve managed to get dummy sells at £0.482p all morning.

£0.50p seems a hard nut to crack!

Indeed ‘realranger’ I totally echo your sentiments and hope that finally all the LTH’s will be amply rewarded!

I bought at £2.05p for my parents and I still feel guilty as that is their core holding! Needless to say I will look to compensate them for my foolishness.

I hope so and with all due respect to you and all the other knowledgeable posters on her ‘ISAPENSION’, it would be fair to say that you can’t assume anything. I’ve probably worn out my ‘rose tinted specs’ here and perhaps personally and potentially to my detriment I might have to go against my natural tendency. Time will tell, I hope you’re right and I’m wrong!

I don’t need the money per se, however it is beyond frustrating when the portfolio goes from blue to red, which is where I’ve spent the vast majority of the last decade! Decisions, decisions!

That’s always the million dollar question ‘heretoinvest’, it’s very tempting to trade and try and average down. However after a decade here ‘FOMO’ usually prevails and then the SP slides and I kick myself again! ;-)

I sincerely hope so ‘mb54’ as we seem to be losing today’s gains already!:-(

FWIW, I was getting £0.488p to sell earlier now down to £0.471p ISAPENSION!

‘Wondergoals’ & ‘ISAPENSION’ many thanks for your many insightful and knowledgeable posts, they have kept me sane on many an occasion. I’ve been here a long time not having sold any (daft I know) and am prepared to see out the end game. It gives some confidence to have people such as JM invested. It would be fantastic if we could get some good news before year end, in a year that has been so awful for so many people in the world. ATB & GLA.

No offence to anyone but I’ve been hearing these wonderful predictions of the gold price by ‘experts’ for a while now, with some ‘experts’ predicting $2,500 by the end of this year. We’re a long ways off those let alone what it will do do our SP. Some were suggesting £1.00p by year! Don’t get me wrong, I’d love them to come to fruition, but at times it feels like pie in the sky! Maybe I’m just suffering due to the time I’ve been invested here. Anyway a nice safe weekend to all.

I topped up a couple of days ago ago as well ‘real ranger’, but as is the norm for me based on past performance, I’m in the red with that top up as well! When we I ever learn!
