Most of the time they are constrained due to having inside information. Regardless of whether the information is good or bad, they can't trade if they have information not yet released. Has anyone else rang/emailed Auhua or GT?
Yes I was level when I made the claims before. Yes I am still level. Email Raphael, Ring GT (Jamie Barklem). How many of you have rang GT? It is like getting blood out of a stone, but after a few phone calls I have made a decision based on what they said, and in the end I have decided to not to take a position. I will be honest, at this point I am distrustful of anyone inside Auhua. I don't see how you clowns can sit around all day with the generic "buys coming through", "could triple if new nomad is found" comments - and not make any more steps to do any research or contribute to the discussion in any way. My advice: get on the phone to GT and try get something useful.
Has anyone noticed that the Chinese version of the Auhua website has been "Page not found" for over a month now? This fact had slipped my mind but thinking about it, is this not a terrible sign? Thoughts?
I actually spoke with the nomads and Raphael before close of business on Friday. GT were pretty stubborn about giving information and would only say that they resigned due to "A professional disagreement". I asked Raphael if he was able to shed some light, and he said that Auhua had found a cheaper chinese nomad, and had gave GT the chance to match the price, GT resigned. They're just saving face as always. Anyway if what Raphael is saying is true, the new nomad should be hired pretty quickly, this week or next. This is still a risky situation, don't get me wrong. But the risk/reward here is absolutely nuts. Even if there is just a 10% chance of this company being legit - the trade has a positive expected value. I am going to watch the price action this week and think about taking a long position (I have no position at the moment, but have had in the past). Other people must be thinking along the same lines as me - there is still a £1m+ market cap.
Don't feel sorry for him - congratulate him. Controlling the downside risk is the consistent trait that all profitable traders have. A lot of you would do well to take this advice: If you are tearing yourself up over a losing position - get out first, then decide whether to get back in or not. That is the only way you guys will be able to make decisions with some objectivity.
Cut your losses and move on, John. I have seen too many people get too attached the way you are, and they always end up losing more than they could have afforded to. Losers average losers.
I don't post on forums of this kind often, and I don't intend to start doing so. Many of you are misguided on Auhua. Forget the fundamentals such as asset value for the moment. The situation we have here is extremely pessimistic pricing based on the fear that we have a fraudulent company. The warning signs have been plentiful, but warning signs are not conclusive. This is the type of circumstance my portfolio specialises in, and you should think of it as an all-or-nothing type of situation. John especially, but others too - you seem to spend hours a day praying that the decline will end. Where has it got you? Your time would be better spent doing some out of the box detective work. Instead of batting messages back and forth about what you hope to see, put your heads together and do some real research. Forget what you are reading on this site or London Stock Exchange RNS. The only information of value you will find on LSE is one RNS post and the Recent Trades section. I have a big position now, I have done the research and have come to a decision. I won't say what my position is, for the purpose of neutrality.
Andy, your trade was routed through the ICAP Securities and Derivatives exchange. You are looking for your order in the London Stock Exchange trades - where it doesn't exist. This is because some of the trades are going through the ISDX market.
