Not every contributor on this board is joining your epic battle with bloggs/chef/whoever and taking one side or the other. Howard, regardless of what some fantasists might suggest, it is only really the market makers that can influence the price to not follow the natural market flow. And only then to a limited extent and for a limited time. IF they are doing this it is most likely to be to enable filling of large volume orders from institutional investors

The concept is pretty simple, MWILT. The CEO is useless, Steve Z has abandoned ship, product recovery rate is hopeless, so the SP is going to plummet. By averaging down, your loss per share is reduced even though your loss in cash terms is greater, see? These things are important to understand if you are going to make your fortune in trading imaginary shares.

One of the more positive aspects of the current position of Kodal is that BB trolls transition from being virtually irrelevant to being totally irrelevant.

Clapa - why so sensitive? I can only speak for myself but only abusiveness or obvious trolling will get you into my green box list. Of course you are entitled to a negative opinion and to sell your shares. You are also entitled to post here about it or just quietly reinvest somewhere else. If you choose to sell up AND to post here that you are doing so, you can hardly complain if someone responds with a different opinion. That is what the BB is for

Elco - I don't know how easy or difficult the adjustments would be, but they would mean interruptions to production and from what Bernard said, it is more about leaving well enough alone. The interviewer also suggested that Hainan would value a consistent product, so that they don't need to adjust the process at their end. Bernard kind of agreed with that - or didn't contradict it, anyway.

A floor price is advantageous if you are lucky enough to have a customer who will agree to one but it is not a function of the prevailing commodity price. it will be agreed at (or related to) a point where the stakeholders agree that continued operation of the mine would be not in their collective interests. It is therefore a function of bare-bones operating costs and as such requires detailed examination of a reasonable period of operations right through to delivery to port. Whatever the figure is, it won't have been plucked from the air in some kind of Trumpian negotiation and will include a review period to reexamine costs as they inevitably fluctuate. ... IMO

It has also informed the market that future communication will be in the form of quarterly updates. You should therefore NOT expect an RNS, which are not supposed to be used for marketing purposes. That having been said, whilst the company is free to update us all via social media, etc. they may be nervous about doing so in case this causes a spike in the SP and brings accusations that they SHOULD have issued an RNS.
