This is a very well run company thats had a bad quarter as long as POO stays around $60 BP will be fine However I feel Shell are now a better play as the P/E is only about 10 where as BPs P/E is much higher....but like I said still a great company with a VG divi....

TBH I was hoping for a largish drop so I could add more....this is a very well run company, I will wait till the US opens before I add as I still think it may drop.....we shall see.

I am surprised at how well its holding up really considering those results.....well run company and probably a blip....

not sure what results you were reading but -41% profit is very poor in my books

Was not expecting that 1/4 to be so bad......not good at all....

The problem with HSBC is that if the divi did get cut even slightly the SP would absolutely bomb and they know it.....

If we get as low as 570s I will be adding regardless....thats a big if of course...

No your right I am not saying today next week or next month what im saying is if they get another set of results like this they will certainly look what other bank pays over a 6% divi? VOD were saying they wouldn't for ages then did....

totally agree but do not see 520 certainly a bit more than this though....think the US will take it down at least another 2% we shall see I hope not but those results do justify it...

May drop below 590 when US opens up and I know they say they will not touch the divi but where have I heard that before......I just think if results do not improve they will reduce it .....maybe....

I can see the divi been reduced soon if they keep this up...they won't keep paying over 6% with results like that lets hope its a blip....

I think most banks will be hit today after the HSBC results we shall see...

Doesn't look great not sure how much we will get hit by, but I see at least a couple of percent and maybe more....we shall see.

Very hopeful for a blue week however with all these shenanigans going on.....I really can not call it for certain, obviously fundamentals should be taking over now but AIM is such a crappy market how knows? I suppose we all have to start somewhere but I will be glad when we are free from these shackles...GLA

I have no doubt in my mind that when we have all the information in and we know what the results of all the drill holes on all sites are telling us this huge asset will be sold.....probably split but definitely sold and it will be at a far greater M/C than we are sitting at right now ...I am sure we will still hold interests in any deals but sold we will be....when? that's the million dollar question, my guess is between June and Sept next year....

I would say there is no chance of a special dividend BP already pay more than most in this sector and I can see it getting a lot tighter but still a great well run company with a great divi...

I can never work out how the market will take BARC results im going to take a stab in the dark and say down but you just never know....I hope its up

I think I have already posted that I got in at just under 4p I am fully aware that this could go either way and at this stage is still very much a gamble however with what's a stake I can not believe that the powers that be will just walk away from this, there is no way this product will be just left in the ground especially with what's already been invested I get the feeling the finance will now be split 1 lot for the shaft and the 2nd for the rest, whatever happens it would only take a whiff of positive news for the SP to at least double....jmo...

My God if only we had FM negotiating our Brexit deal....what a country we would be?
