Not brilliant but better than BP and the P/E is much lower...

Shell results were better but not by much both companies worth holding for the dividend if the sector can sustain it.....

I expected the results to be worse with the pilot strike happy to hold here with 8B swashing about......

Manipulation aside, I think BMN have almost become a victim of its own success ....and yes I still believe the V price has a lot to do with the SP but that really should be balanced by the battery side, I also think the mention of a Dividend some time ago has not helped however with Vanchem I fully understand why, but to even mention it to shareholders then not give reason in a timely manner did not help in fact I feel it would have been better not to mention a divi until they were sure of a date line in implementation and I still feel today that had they paid a small Dividend out we would be much further advanced than we are now SP wise and not have so much trouble with manipulation or shorters.... just my opinion

I think the results will be pretty much inline but this company has so much cash I feel we may get a special divi just for being nice....ha ha

Just out of interest can we expect a further reduction in the purchase price of Vanchem with lower V prices or is that it now and its set in stone?

Well its results tomorrow....lets hope they are better than BPs......who knows? personally I think they will be....

I see the BP divi issue popping up again.....I don't think the divis are sustainable in the sector...yes they are covered by earnings at the moment but the amount of investment needed to keep these companies at the forefront is huge......

Just to add to my last comment I am certainly not advocating trading BMN shares (very dangerous) you can easily get caught out, but at the time it was a way of mitigating some risk with my wifes shares, I myself have been lucky to get in at the very early stages so have a very low average having said that I did buy into the huge rise at circa 36p and do feel for those that had just got involved with BMN at much higher prices, in comparison I am still way ahead of my wifes holding percentage wise...so was trading the right move?

I know this is going to sound very simplistic, however a company is only worth what someone is willing to pay, yes I understand the MMs and the manipulation and AIM but ultimately if there were loads of buyers then the MMs would find it more difficult to restrain the SP....its been banded about that the V price has/has not had an affect on the SP for what its worth I think it has had a huge detrimental affect on the SP as most know I've been here for circa 6/7 years and have sold very little of my holding and the few I did I bought back....with my wifes account I have traded quite a few but she still has the same amount of shares now and to be honest that has worked very well for her....I will be holding till true value is reached (and it will) when? that I cant answer but im certainly not going to pull "pie in the sky" figures out of the air. GLA our time will come...

Got in earlier at 2318 very happy with that... although it was a bit of a toss up between shell and BP, I needed one oil major to balance my portfolio but the P/E decided it in the end and not todays BP results.....BP are fine and will be.....its just one crappy 1/4 for them they are a well run company and I will look at them again in a few weeks but for now i'll take shell and there divi.....

I suppose we should ask why folks are not buying at these incredible prices?

My god ....anybody would think we have had a profit warning.....

like I said I can see a further drop when the US opens however I do feel that it will be short term and maybe the time to add...hoping to get I at around 485 but may not go that low we shall see.....
