The problem with that theory is, if they pay much more than 30-40% premium to the SP... Whoever "they" are, will not see it as VALUE....

totally agree....but 18-20p would be a high price rom here?

I would take tinkler selling as a very good thing medium to long term the guy has caused nothing but trouble, and I said sometime back the only thing holding the SP back was the back room stabbings involving Tinkler however there are other reasons now but at least he is out of the way....

Shorting at that level really doesn't worry me even some of the best companies have shorts....and shorts are quite often wrong and can also be used as a Hedge ....so no real concern there... my concern is the SP although it has climbed a tad today I feel it should be much higher if we have a few interested parties....

I could not agree more...that was yesterday this is today oh and by the way the market is forward looking, again I hope I am wrong and that NANO go for stupid money and make us all rich....but I will be shocked if its over 20p and see 30-40% premium max. on todays price, (that's f its sold) as I said the market is forward looking and we are sitting at circa 12p says it all really.

Yes that looks a gifted acquisition, however it could be a little concerning as we know the 2 main holders have an agreement not to sell anymore shares for I think 18 months....but what is there to stop them gifting the shares then the recipient selling them?

those in SXX didn't want to sell for 5.5p those in FLYBE didn't want to sell I can name many many more

To be down at 12p suggests to me either no deal or they want to get the SP as low as possible to make a 40% or so premium look good all speculation of course but there is always a reason for the SP to be where it is and those banding about 50p buy out really dream on....and I've been here for a long time even if they sort a deal out we will be very very lucky to get a 40% premium.

Actually I dont think MRW are that cheap at circa 18 x earnings however it is very tradable at this level...

This is a Company that really needs change or to just sell up....I know they cant really be compared to BOO and I do think Quiz are undervalued but there is a reason for that, the just seem to not "get it" dump all the bricks and mortar and concentrate on-line its the only chance they have of survival short of being sold....I do expect another drop perhaps to circa 10-11p until we see that turn around

Asos trading update was excellent hope it lifts BOO a bit...

yet another huge share buyback yesterday.... at some point this will reflect on the SP

I think that was an excellent trading update considering the state of retail ...

I wonder if FM has in the back of his mind that almost all the fantastic RNSs last year were released into a substantial declining V price market and that he is thinking wait till it starts climbing before wasting any more fantastic news? not saying that he is holding back market sensitive info of course.... just a thought...

I would imagine anglo would not let him near the site but he would be paid highly (part of the deal) then probably put on gardening leave...

Very Very tempted to put my toe in the water here I think at this level it could be worth a go the divi is ok and I think they will improve on those Christmas results....I must say I visited 3 different Ms in my area over xmas and all were rammed....ok only a small local survey but I went into a large Sainsburys around the same time and that was empty in comparison.....All this information leads me to think my survey was SH***E ....
