I hope this info is correct, for clarity I will be looking to get back in at a lower level as I said at 86 x forward earnings this maybe over priced but we shall certainly see come 22nd

BOO is without doubt a fantastic company and very well run but at 86 x forward earnings ???? think about it.... that's in TESLA country the results may well come in very good but this is priced for perfection any blip and see what happens....

I have to say that RNS sounded more professional and I would say was written and composed by someone different to the last bunch of RNSs .....however this is VOG and we can't get away from that bunch of to55ers...

Good update the well is performing as they said just need POO to increase now....having said that we are still making excellent money....as the price of oil increases so will the HUR SP.....im very comfortable with my investment here although still just under water.....GLA

For clarity the fear got the best of me and I did say I would hold till 22nd but I sold yesterday....I hope I have not bailed too early BOO are usually quick to update the market but they have not given any real information of any affect of CV on the business ? and with a very high P/E of 83 any minor issues will hit the SP hard again for clarity I aim to get back in after the results.....

I am afraid BOO will not dodge reduced sales and various other problems due to CV they are a great company with a strong balance sheet and will survive....however the multiple P/E is that high it is priced for perfection....and we all know that is not going to be so in the up coming results my fear as I've stated in previous comments is that the P/E is stratospheric and only a minor blip will hit the share price hard.....

Depends on the US bank earnings that start today I think they will set the president......

I am also going to hold til the 22nd however if I do have 1 concern it is that our p/e multiple is very high and any real down turn in the results will probably destroy the SP but regardless longterm and medium term this is still a buy...

Primark cancelled £256M worth of orders from India last week....may not be a reflection on BOO and I know they are completely different companies but even so Primark we're doing very well....

Totally agree....with the government now basically underwriting lloyds loans the risk element is virtually gone I am sure at some point this will reflect in the SP it has to......

The biggest source of energy the world has is the Sun it is "infinite" Oil and the worlds minerals are not, and the change to use alternative energies is here and here to stay...the problem using solar energy is capturing it and storing it, with the caveat of a cataclysmic event, the Sun will burn for millions of years to come.
In the past solar energy could only be used in daylight hours and was essentially turned of when it got dark....so no real use as we need energy constantly 24/7 ....For decades we have had companies making storage batteries to hold energy take "Tesla" however most storage batteries being built today are either dangerous ie catch fire or can not be built to the scale where they could hold the power to run cities and towns...well for the last few years there have been companies developing such technologies the product used is VANADIUM.....Lithium was the choice of smaller scale storage for cars and hand tools etc...but lithium can be dangerous and can not be scaled to the size required for 100s of G/W Vanadium can, on top of this Vanadium never depletes so the storage battery can be loaded and discharged virtually infinitely also the Vanadium can be reused after the battery storage life...so recyclable. I have been in BP and shell for a number of years and the dividends have been very good, but the way the world is today with all thats going on throw in new energies, I am thinking long and hard about oil.....dont get me wrong it will be about for decades to come and BP/Shell will survive but they will be fundamentally different companies short term I do see BP around the £2.00 levels and the divi being cut, as we all go back to work and the tap is turned back on I do not see the SP going back to normal levels any time soon......Having said all that I do see oil way above $100 a barrel within 5 years but by then BP/Shell will be changed companies producing much less as the world turns to alternative energies.....JMO.

Check Mate by Putin and the Saudis I think they know exactly what they are doing and this will virtually shut down the US oil business, they have cut just enough to keep oil prices about where they are now and Trump will have to import....he may well try and put tariffs on the imports but regardless he will still need the oil and now he will have to deal with another circa 10-15M unemployed....smart move.... however longer term we will all pay I can see over $100 per barrel but that could be 5 years away, by then the US industry will be destroyed

This is going to be a blood bath come Tuesday they will end up having to pay to get rid of the oil can see under $10 per barrel however long term can see huge increase as smaller producers go out of business or sell up long term can see $100 but thats maybe 5 years away...
