Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
Lockdowns , tiers , travel restrictions. If we hadn't had them we would have achieved heard immunity months ago.
For most of the population this is a flu like virus & has little or no affect on them. Yes we should be protecting the most at risk groups & like the flu some people will be affected more than others. However most of the population could get on with life as normal just taking precautions like washing hands & coughing and sneezing into a tissue then disposing of it. ( like you should anyway).
Lockdown if it happens in January could benefit CF as it is a very quiet period for them unlike November which would be busy.
They need to get the online business sorted & then the SP will see a major improvement.
Still needs a kick up the ass then. Hopefully soon. :-)
There are a couple of Investment funds that have taken a large stake in Card factory. They are funds that pick shares with high dividend returns . I don't think that this is a share for day trading however if you are looking for a long term investment with a high yield then this could be one for the isa. We will only know when the results come out & the short sellers will keep pressure on this share until then.
Their shops are busy however they should be doing more to promote the online business which should be a no brainer for the next CEO.
Roxburyhouse.
Me too. ??
They dropped to just over a pound in January not 75p.
Wait for the results.
Just hope they have enough stock to keep up with the demand.
Busy busy.
Dividends
2018. Total 14.3p
2019. Total 14.3p
MS increased their steak in this company because they are going to make a lot off money.
1.They loan out shares on shorts & get paid for that.
2.They gain on the increase on the share price when the shorts are called in.
3.They won't see cineworld go bust as the 250 million which cineworld may or may not need is chicken feed .
4. In 2021 they know it will be a £2 plus share.
So cineworld is already shut in the UK. A lockdown makes no difference. In fact it would be good for them.
The dept is being restructured & when you look at the returns post covid-19 the returns are massive. No reason for the lenders not to extend the loans.
Hard to believe the government is looking at a national lockdown anyway. Maybe shut university's & schools where all the cases are coming from.
Insi.
What a knobhead.
Just my opinion.
According to my information they have enough liquidity until July 2021 anyway & they are still getting some income. A little extra would be good & should sort out the short positions.
I do think that shorting stocks should be banned. It undermines companies & costs jobs. Something the government should be looking at.
If they secure the company the shares wouldn't stay at 5p long. Working for RR & they won't be paying the massive dividend per share cineworld would on recovery.
Just something to think about.
Reckon they should have a rights issue open to all shareholders.
Shut everyone up. Gain liquidity until 2022.
Would be good for longterm investors & we could pick up some cheap shares ready for a booming 2021.
Got the boat for RR.
110 a share yet they have more debt than cineworld & are doing a rights issue. Up 20%
The stock market is mad. :-)
They paid 14.3p dividend 2019. Since then they have completed deals with some supermarkets & increased their online sales. Yes they do need to advertise more & can take a massive amount more of the online sales. The sp at the moment is way too low.
Jwd.
Check out the bfi.org site for cinema takings.
Going up nicely.
Indepthwins.
You post.
Cinema is in decline.
Fact. 2020 takings were above 2019 pre covid-19 so 2020 was shaping up to be a better year.
All companies have dept.
Take Premier foods. Massive dept & pension deficit so you would not have invested. Shares went from 16p to over £1 in a few days & no chance of a dividend for years to come.
National lockdown.
Not happening mate.
No need for one. ( more people dying of road traffic accidents than covid-19)
I am happy to wait a while for the true value of this share to come through in the next 6 months .
Keep posting your crap, it makes me laugh.
RS,
The mayor must have a short position. ??
:-)
Matser,
Didn't they pay 14.3p a share dividend altogether in 2019 ?
One for the ISA I think. :-)
