In theory, smart meters are a great thing. It means more accurate bills and a clearer understanding of your usage through the real-time display.

But they make it complicated for you to switch. Because right now suppliers are pushing different and dated technology.

The truth is, this sucks. What saves you the most money when it comes to energy is switching and your smart meter will most likely go dumb when you switch.

So it would be pointless getting the ones on offer right now.

We know this, and that’s why, if a tariff requires you to have a smart meter installed we do not use them. Look After My Bills will never switch you to a smart meter-only deal.

Our advice right now is to wait and hold-off on installation. When the next generation of technology comes out, it should solve those headaches with switching.

What I am doing is attempting to unpick the numbers you continually spout, with literally no idea what they mean. £7 million is CC running cost for 2019, assuming they manage to hold onto the monthly figure, which I seriously doubt. So, £7 million is cost, if they achieve £7 million revenue, any idea what that means? I want to get this done, as you seem the only one to post numbers.

Morning all. This is a revenue figure, very large costs need to be extracted before we learn the underlying loss for 2018. Those costs are supposedly reduced in 2019 giving a run rate of circa £7 million - that is hard wired COSTS. So, given revenue is way down on expectations, who's up for more dilution late 19?

We know the expected figure is £7-8 million, let's calm down a little and see where it lands. No point worrying too early : )

to shuffle the pack and give the best outcome for the self indulgent BoD. The auditors are clearly struggling with the CC concept in revenue recognition. I am sure they will get there in the end though, the Snouts are hanging troughside in expectation, and the BoD always deliver when in their interest.
