I'm going on comments in the industry Itt. This tech is attracting very positive attention, and from techies who know their industry. CC have had links with TATA in the past, I am waiting for the comments that it must be CC behind this one.

You may not believe it but I have always looked on CC as being a very interesting play. They are very much in the game, but the longer the game goes, the less likely I think they will keep up. There is always a reason for most things, I have yet to hear a reason why the Indian roll out hasn't begun. You will know more than most how long that wait has been. The TATA link this morning could be significant, who knows. But every day without a solid volume contract, is possibly a day closer to a global offer from elsewhere that will be accepted by all. I feel CC's offer is clearly not there, as yet anyway .

Not saying CC are not going to get there, just the other side of this coin is immense, and growing.

All things equal Itt, they are probably undervalued. The real issue is with the very slow uptake in sales, it is slowing more now than ever. New tech is worked on all the time, from giants with very deep pockets. Not sure of the relevance on this but take a look.

I agree with every word LTI. I am also pleased you have finally noted the 'timeframe' that JC clearly stated, that will see volume contracts land this H1. Your statement ' So during the second quarter of 2021, hopefully, we should see some movement towards orders for RF projects specifically, in India and possibly other global opportunities also.' You always underplay expectations, but I feel even you will struggle with this companies inability should they not at least achieve something of real volume in the coming 3 months.

Personally, if you are happy with just a 1 million unit backlog, and nothing new for 7 months, you are thinking way too small. JC recognises the urgent need to 'fill the hopper' and for a long time now that has not been happening.
Companies of this age, and cash burn history, should never be content with immediate financial stability. It does not, and will not, last long. The TU needs backing up with some very solid order wins, simples.

I am thinking even a new large volume order (ie 3 million plus ) may not even be enough. There is far too much distrust out there, today is proof if ever needed.

It's a financial progress report. A trading update would have given details on err, updates on trading.
Stuff like BI, Bangladesh, Iran, UK, anywhere else that promised the earth and delivered nothing. It's never what JC says, always what he doesn't, which is why the market won't get carried away.
This RNS would have at least doubled a MC of most AIM companies.

Tracking the numbers, it's a constant circa 8000 new meters installed a week. At that run rate, the Indian Smart Meter programme will be complete in about 600 years.
