A new partnership has been formed that endeavours to install more than 250 million smart electric meters and increase utility revenue by $15.4 million across India.
The smart meters will be funded, installed and operated by IntelliSmart Infrastructure Private Limited, a new joint venture company formed by the State agency Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) and the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF).
The establishment of IntelliSmart forms part of efforts by the Indian government and EESL to install 250 million smart meters.

Move on jake. CC have no competition, their solution is the cheapest and the only one that works. It's only a matter of a few more months before they take over the world and ARM are forced to pay £ billions to keep in the latest game.

The Indian market was made sole target because JC, and others, thought they knew the Indian market. Turns out they don't, which is why they have to employ some that reckon they do. EESL have been less than active in their own country on Smart Metering, why JC gets so excited about them now dragging CC to other regions is baffling. They are currently an utter waste of time that no company needs. Large scale SM contracts are being placed globally, India may never even start.

Secure Meters are smashing out millions with the Comms tech required. TATA's latest smart offer is also making huge strides, again with Comms tech pre loaded. All made in India. No doubt it will be CC inside both, the world cannot function without them : ))
