I am a shareholder of PetroMatad and have concerns around the price action and share price action for the last few months.

Please can PetroMatad confirm that the share register is up to date and when it was last updated.

There has been a huge amount of shares sold, in volumes at many multiples of the most recent share placing carried out in July.

Any share price rise is halted with a stream of sells and I believe the price is being manipulated for interests that go against those of shareholders.

Please can you respond to me to advise how this can be investigated.

You know things have changed for the company recently right.

It's now a mega coup for anyone who gets their hands on the Heron field. Billions of prizes to be more accurate.

MB has bought over many years.

The PC interest in takeover is recent. Now the licenses and permits and everything is in place.

PC didn't want it when MB put 100k in 2 years ago.

MB will do the best for himself and for us.

For some it will be great. For others who are holding from 35p.. Not so much

It's a takeover offer with a signing on bonus to stay on as project manager. It's whatever way they want it to be fully within the law. It's not difficult to structure you know

Any deal that comes in will take more than good care of MB. Don't worry about MB.

He'll get his 4p 5p as well as a signing bonus or an introduction bonus or a Swiss account bonus.

The lower he allows a deal to happen the more he'll get.

success is in the share price alone. nothing else. a **** company at 10p is better to me than a great company at 2p.

Mike Buck and every CEO job is to promote his company and build the share price as high as possible. Mike Buck doesn't care about providing liquidity is the problem. He shouldn't be leading MATD then.

His interest is not about traders or holders.

His whole damn job is to build the share price through liquidity. Don't make excuses for him. He's not stupid he's smart. It's no mistake.

JV or takeover or asset-strip. Whatever it is he's doing it now and it's weighted towards taking care of the buyer and not you and me.

Why not sell. I'm waiting for the incompetent to provide liquidity like it's his job to do.

Investor33 all valid questions and I've answered them in last few posts. It's being manipulated by the team who post here. All 3 have 99% of posts on MATD with no apparent interest in the company.

Mike Buck is allowing it to continue with his news releases. Yes they're good news but who mentions that it's been raining. Who gives you one paragraph to say H1 is pumping after 10 years.

Even if he is usually not a fanfare guy he's taking a whole new level.

He knows how to get the SP up. Just ask him how he does it when he needs a raise.

Many crooks around and one day something hard and sharp will catch up with them. One time too many will find them and I look forward to that day.

Until then we await H2 results. It was drilled over 5 weeks ago so imo update is overdue. All part of the plan to ensure there's constant pressure on the SP and the negativity is allowed to be spread. Just my opinion.

Nobody is in contact with the company. Nobody demands Mike Buck to respond to an email. We just sit and grumble online.

I've tweeted the company on their twitter page. We should flood the page with questions and comments. But we'll all wait for someone else to do it.

Nobody holds and tried to create questions and negativity in a share they hold.

You've had 2.55p offered multiple times the last few weeks you didn't take it. So you're pretending.

You both work for the interest of PC or whoever is trying to take the now profitable assets from the company. Whether Chinese or American or British. Someone is after the 100s of millions that will be produced in the next 10 years by MATD and they won't leave it to small PI like us to enjoy the fruits.

That is the scam of AIM. Need money, get the bowl out and rip pi.

I have concern that this is being held down by people connected to a takeover interest or similar. Which I don't mind happening because I have a lower average than many LTH

MB is not being totally straight with us either and makes no sense that we began pumping with little fanfare or PR of the company. Every share podcast and website should have been talking about reaching such a milestone

So what's the endgame. As stas says sells the oil and move into renewable side completely. Possibly.

But the price action is certainly pointed towards manipulation and I don't say that lightly. If I thought that the FCA would give a sh it then I would report it. As it happens they wouldn't do a thing so no point

But certainly this share price has not been allowed to run away. Therefore a 4p deal when and if it comes will look better than if the SP was already at 3.5p

They will usually say

80% premium to the closing price on so and so date

68% premium to the 60 day vwap etc

40% premium to the 6 month...

So a Low offer needs to look good by holding the price low for an extended period such as is happening.

The last spike shot up and down and ended flat or red same day. Completely manipulated and huge selling of blocks. Nobody has that stock without a TR-1. Many multiples of placing churned.

Not all is right here but shareholders with low averages should do well in the end

There are forces at work here doing that for months. Shorts and fuds combined.

Is PC trying to buy out MATD

There’s no deal to sell our oil. The company told us that’s not even been agreed - let alone drafted, ratified or signed.

The Cooperation Agreement with neighbouring operator, PetroChina Daqing Tamsag, is in near final form. It includes provision for the offloading, measurement, processing, export and sale of the Block XX production. All fees to be levied are in line with expectations and the only item remaining to be agreed is the administration fee to be paid to PetroChina.

Petro Matad's in-field operations team is at site and all logistical preparations are being made to be ready to start the transportation of produced fluids to PetroChina's facilities some 20 km to the north in Block XIX.

Petro Matad, PetroChina and MRPAM have all agreed to get Block XX production operations started ahead of the operational winter shut down in late November. Production, processing and export activities continue through the winter months
