It is business as usual at Wood regardless of a bid. The bid is not the be all and end all for Wood.

There is no existential crisis.

Refinance talks happening in good time. Very experienced CFO at the helm.

He wouldn't go there to oversee a capitulation, why would he ruin his reputation.

Talks probably began in October as we entered the final 2 years.

Interest rates gradually falling which all helps in securing financing at a better rate.

Bottom line Wood has many assets they can liquidate if they really needed cash. No mass redundancies seen. Jobs being advertised

Russia would never allow it.

Nato knew that, Ukraine knew that, but pushed on regardless to force Russia into war.

It was wholly avoidable. Ukraine maintains their sovereignty.

OM you might have trouble reading but you'll see in my posts that actually I announced I'd bought back before it started moving up.
