Hybridan placed 9,550,000 shares via a placing. Can anyone explain who is likely to have been offered these shares and the difference between them and HNWI/retail punters via WRAP?

I don't understand. If shares are flooding the market, why would the price be circa 50% higher?

Naturally, they are very unhappy at the success of the placing because they don't make any money out of it.

They're certainly keeping the price down, probably deliberately so that placees don't feel they have such a good deal.

I wouldn't be surprised if they soon try to dip the price below the placing. Why? Because they're immoral barstewarts who have probably colluded with the other immoral barstewarts to bring us to this point.

Maybe it depends which Brokers are already on Winterfloods client base. I assume that they then contact their retail base and ask if they want to participate on behalf of their clients, ie, us.

That's what they charge for so it's not Sareum's job to contact anyone. It's Winterflood's job to get the placing away. IMO.

They had £0.6m held in shares as at 31/12/2023 but there have been some obvious large RF sells since then. I'm surprised there's anything left but I don't understand the deal anyway.

If there's an Accountant on this forum, I think we'd all appreciate a breakdown of the deal.
