It wouldn't have helped the SP that I bed & ISA'd my holding of Sareum last week, in a rush, at 0.86 or so. My bad luck with timing AIM shares should have warned me to WAIT and taken note of the maxim, "just don't do something, sit there".

Fed up with the daily erosion.

How I wish I'd sold at 40 pence, walked away and lived happily ever after! Greed is a dangerous state of mind on AIM.

I thought that Robin would have tied this up long before now to take a well-earned retirement in Canada. Now we have another complicated deal which has gone down like a lead balloon. Lots of people making money but the shareholders are screwed over as usual.

I shall be interested to see whether any of the newly acquired family money by Adam is put back into the placing.

OB. I think you may be looking for reassurance, a very natural human reaction when we perceive that we are in a risky situation such as investing in AIM!
I've been invested in Valirx for a few years. Enough time to see my original investment decimated by George & Mildred who previously ran the show. Those two all but ended the company. I had resigned myself to the likelihood that my money had been lost but then, a miracle. A group of shareholders removed the previous encumbents and the business is under new management with a plan and enough cash to move forward. I bought sufficient "new" shares to reduce my average to a recoverable figure and when that figure is reached I will sell and move on. That's my strategy as I am gradually pulling away from AIM as it's hard to pick winners these days and after 12 years, I've had enough.

I do think Valirx has a good future and I hope it works out well for everyone.

OB, this is AIM! If you ask questions about a persons veracity, I question whether you should be here! There are a lot of chaps not playing a straight bat!

I have 100% confidence that SAR will deliver as promised. A bit of a lull after the excitement and a great time to top up. It's not as if COVID-19 and all the other maladies have gone away is it?

What's likely to happen if the warrants are exercised? Will it be difficult to keep the SP up if the warrant holders sell in large quantities?

Five consecutive days will be Friday as the mid closed at 17.375 on Monday.

I will ring the broker tomorrow to see if they offer that service as it would be a lot cheaper than selling & buying into an ISA.

I just wanted to say, whatever happens to this share, that we owe a debt of gratitude to Freddy and some others who, by actually doing something, snatched this share from almost certain failure at the hands of two useless and inept former directors. Whatever the outcome, Fred and the others (I am sorry that I can't remember their names) actually got together and did something positive and it's important to remember that they actually got flack from some quarters, for making the effort. Thanks guys.

The only way you can protect these golden tickets is to get them into a stocks & shares ISA but you have to think of the spread when the transaction is done. Your broker will have to sell at the bid and buy at the offer. This could cost you a considerable sum depending on the spread and the number of shares you have plus two broker fees for the transaction. You cannot simply transfer the holding into the protection of an ISA without selling them first (for obvious reasons if you think about it)
If the SP is moving rapidly, trying to get the timing right could be tricky and I would prefer to have my broker actually do the deal whilst I was on the phone. I wouldn't use an automated system to carry it out. You also have to consider any CGT you might have made prior to shielding the shares in an ISA.

Yes, it will be. I fell into the "greed" camp when AMC peaked at about 40p a few years back. I sold a few but then held on for the £1 party but the invitation to that party never came and I just stood by and watched the gradual fall in the SP.

A share suspension pending an offer would be my ideal scenario. Anything between 20p & 30p would get my support. I have enough of these shares for CCT to be an issue should things go well. Perhaps I should get them in an ISA but the problem is the spread when my broker has to sell and buy them into the ISA. It could be tricky and I'll have to try and time it carefully. Many might be thinking why I haven't done this already but making any serious gains on shares has never been an issue I have had to worry about!!!

With no news a gradual rise to 20p and a possible 25p. Sentiment is good.

Sphinx, there was a trading update last year in July. This year will probably be cut & paste as usual and it looks as if the finals will be as late as possible. Market reaction to today's RNS as expected. A few more patents to add to the vast collection and paid for by more dilution, (It wasn't exactly expensive was it so it can't be that great!)

Good to see a belated mention of Covid-19 though.
