Rainbow Rare Earths Phalaborwa project shaping up to be one of the lowest cost producers globally. Watch the video here.
@Amanensia; LOL. Comment of the day so far!
@Pearls; your desperation for some of our profits to be aimed at your pet loss-maker are just getting quite cringeworthy now; you are targeting the wrong audience (except perhaps for me, but I'm not using your shop now out of principle).

CC
Probably, should we guess a time?
I'll go with Dip commencing 12:35....

Welcome!
Help yourself to a drink from the free bar, and make yourself at home.... before the party really starts....

Morning all,
Not sure I qualify as an LTH yet....
My sleep pattern is pretty rubbish anyway; I tend to only sleep for around four hours a night, so I just make the most of it when it seems appropriate. That's where the 24/7 Crypto market comes in handy, but I'll do other stuff too. At the minute I could probably just watch the markets for hours on end (if I let myself) as it is an exciting time, but there's plenty of other things need doing - stuff that I can control; ultimately I/we have no direct control over the BTC price or the American market, so I'll dip in to have a look every so often, but it seems futile to just spend hours obsessing over it. I tend to read a lot.

Late night crew!
That was a good night for crypto-trading before everything bounced; spent a bit of time flipping between Dot / BTC / Poly and a few others.... (mostly on the search for more gains to direct towards ARB); time for a rest now I think, although I could watch this all night!
Onwards Argonauts!

@thisisgood;
[apologies - distracted]
Sad but true, I fear.
Very little appetite for action, plenty of blue-sky waffle though.
..and best I don't even get started on banking IT systems; the customer-facing stuff is.. better than it's ever been, but I was able to look at some back-office systems a few years ago - gawd I hope it's improved since. I mean, there was nothing wrong with Access 2003 ..in ..2003.. but we're a little beyond that now.. and expecting a younger-generation person to engage with it as a financial professional in a meaningful way...?
Scary.

....I could think of a few Memes and Gifs I'd send them....
Having had the 'pleasure' of working in a Govt Health IT initiative (NPfIT), I strongly concur Glasir - which is why I will be responding to this consultation in pretty plain language.... Whilst the focus is very much on financial markets and asset (wealth) management at the minute, I've already said my main area of interest is in data - particularly health data and research - so I really hope they don't implement this legislation and 'accidentaly' fill any BlockChain / Data usage space full of spanners before we've even really got there....
CC
Evening all,
Rough day it seems?
I topped up again today, and continue to average up, having first bought in at 9/10P - profits from elsewhere continue to be funnelled into Argo, and on dips like today I would have kicked myself to just let it pass.
So I guess I remain confident, and fully expect this wild ride to continue in this manner all the way up to the top....
Again I feel for those who have bought in on a spike, but just as the last one; look at the fundamentals for Argo and the Crypto / BlockChain space as a whole, and look at how we're developing as a company....
Speaking of developments - I was fortunate to 'attend' a Webinar by Polymath today discussing the legalities of digital asset tokenisation, and was encouraged to engage in the HM Gov consultation below.
Seems to me we have a few industry types here who may already have contributed to this, and thos who are heavily invested might want to also have their say.

The government invites views from a wide range of stakeholders, and particularly firms engaged in cryptoasset or DLT activities. Nerdy correction-point (sorry);
Polymer these days in the UK - even less nutritious than paper....
I'm assuming the question re backing is rhetorical....

@teofore;
Your post literally discounts the entire history of every fiat currency, and in the face of such history is utter pish I'm afraid.
In regards to money as we know it; does the term CBDC mean anything to you?
You are correct though; some people really do need to do some critical thinking....
All the best,
CC
@l_b;
Great analogy, again.
When it's like this I like to go surfing.
Actually do, and at some point I'll be thanking Argo for my globetrotting surfari.... hope to see you on the beach someday.
CC
Ha!
@mickey1122 - I'm guessing you'd already taken the time to figure out you were getting onto a rollercoaster, right?
Enjoy the ride!
CC
@unix83;
That's a very good point. Also fairly concerning, but I see some sensible posts about this today.
One thing I like about this space is that those of us who understand it are still very much in front of the pack, and most who are already in are actually willing to encourage others to research and improve their understanding....
It's a process I guess.

Oh... bbbob;
Where did you get this from?;
"Given it has no intrinsic value, and is worth only what people are willing to pay for some relatively illiquid digital tokens, the price floor is zero. If people lose confidence they won't keep paying into the ponzi scheme."
-
"Given it has no intrinsic value, and is worth only what people are willing to pay" - please do tell me how BTC is more guilty of this than any other asset class... and then I'll give you the evidence for how it's not guilty, and is actually a better store of value....
"the price floor is zero. If people lose confidence they won't keep paying into the ponzi scheme" - you're describing Fiat currencies pretty accurately here....
I'm not really interested in trying to change your mind for you to be honest - you can / do / will have your own opinions and reasons for them, but to give such a definitive-sounding statement with nothing to back it up is just muppet-level jargon-parroting in my opinion.
I don't want to argue with you, but I am willing to invest some time in a discussion on this - more for the benefit of nervous holders than anything else....
Kind regards,
CC
Yeah...
Perhaps zoom out further than Motley Fools and 'popular' media opinions;
Data; new asset class.
BTC & crypto; Not just 'money'
Argo; Not 'just' a BTC miner - a BlockChain pioneer.
This is just another bump in the road.
Those of us who are Bullish here have never claimed that this will go up in a straight line - to do so would be.... Foolish.
DYOR - Actually look into the whole financial & BlockChain space, and see what you think.
CC
@mickey1122;
LOL - assuming you ever see this post, as it's likely to be 3 pages back by tomorrow....
I think maybe I was confused by your acronym (BCM)....
So perhaps by BCM you meant Binance?
All good....
You can just buy fractional coins/tokens (so X % of 1 Bitcoin....) If you're going to max-out deposit limits on one platform, just buy across a few - there are many different crypto exchanges and wallets which you can purchase through; just be mindful of that fact that you would need to declare/pay tax as you're purchasing assets outside of an ISA / SIPP wrapper; that's one of the benefits of being in Argo / tech stocks....
As Shamh suggested - I also use Binance as I find it very useful and I get along with the interface, but there are many, so whatever works for you.... most will have some sort of 'learning' / 'research' / 'information' section and there is an awful lot to learn....
I wouldn't claim to be any sort of expert, but I have gone full geek-mode into this, so just shout up if there's anything you want a pointer on - lots more knowledgeable posters here too who will always help out, in my experience....
Enjoy!
CC
- Good points, but;
Argo BLOCKCHAIN -
Not just a BTC miner....
Watch this space.
Seriously - Peter Wall, and Argo know where the value is at; right now - BTC Bullmarket. In the future - crypto transactions, BlockChain work, Data Storage and Data mining....
Argo is at the spikey end of the new wave.
IMHO

@mickey1122 - I presume you mean Bitcoin Cloud Mining Centre (.com) - why these in particular?
