The issue with the saliva test was consistency of the saliva - eating & drinking can thicken or dilute saliva and can also be, in theory, used to defeat the test. I seem to remember on one of the presentations that it works but was shelved for possible use later if required. so it must have been pretty much finished.

I think all you read were the people involved at the back. Because amongst all the bluff and bustle in there , there is no actual committment to anything solid. Thats probably why the likes of avacta and Omega are not there..been there, seen it, done it.

Hate to tell you this, but this is all smoke and mirrors. Absolutely nothing will happen with this except possible some small grants.
To be screwed over, you have to have been taken in and done work and then not be paid, or be screwed on the price.

I think you'll find Avacta's vision is independent and thats the best way to be. Reliance on government is never a good thing as they change their allegiances by the hour.
Document is a glossy load of crap.

Anything our goverments shout about is to put a tick in a box to say they have started a scheme to assist it. In reality, if you want to build a sucessful business you have to do it on your own two feet.

I think you'll find Alastair Smith recognised that a long time ago......Thats why they have built what they have with the advisary board etc...
