...and your comment about the MM's. Its a known tactic that plays out most time. MM's sell but run short to take advantage of the momentum, widen the spread and balance their book

I don't have to decide to buy...I bought back in the 18/24/28p and in the drop to 40p.

Its the usual MM making use of FOMO. Run up the price with tight spread. Widen the spread and let it drop, buying back the stock they sold at cheaper rates. Oldest trick in their book.
