They are in advanced talks with rig providers who are in region (lower cost) better quality rigs than we previously looked at

We know that they are keen not to mislead us, giving us realistic timelines

So all we can do now is trust them to execute the contract. I personally will be spending some time looking at how is drilling or recently drilled to see what the rig is.

Glad if we are using a hot rig, least no delays in paperwork, audits etc

from my understanding they are focused on getting this mess sorted and a rig contracted and this drill underway, i wouldnt look past that at this stage imo

trading today, looks like a retail just decided to dump their position
seeing this ALOT across a number of stocks
people just chase around like headless chickens
no news tomorrow, just a confirmation of rig advanced talks and some positive vibes
the rig contract will be announced this month imo
then i think interest kicks this to double digits + given the size of the prize

The BOD would have had their decision to sack DM in Jan, they aren’t going to keep DM in seat to take the glory as then how would they sack him

They have set Lorna up to drive this company forward. Imo she has been selected as the rig process is already done and the last few items are being agreed

Once inked it’s all operational, and that’s not really CEO that’s the teams job.

If we didn’t have the funding and this was last year I’d be looking for a more ‘ commercial CEO’ however for where HE1 is, funded and rig contracts done in the main, I really think this is a smart move.

Someone that knows the project and is technical, is what we need, we no longer need a promoter, we need someone that’s going to make the right operational decisions and I think Lorna is the one for that

No point looking at his decisions and how he wasted so much time and cash. He messed up and got the sack.

Now we need this board to look forward. I for one won’t care who is in care aslong as they deliver to the market a rig and a drill in Q2

The rest is now history and everyone on this BB needs to move on and get behind Lorna.

If she doesn’t deliver then let’s debate that, but for now, less than a week in, let’s give her some fresh time, see how this week goes and see how they execute this month.

If I were the new BOD, I’d be using this weeks AGM to give everyone confidence

1. Fully funded- no need for funds (they have 12m)
2. Rig contract close ie within two weeks
3. Reduction of unrequired costs
4. After rig contract a couple of BOD buys

This is at the bottom of the trend. When 2 comes in I see this building, we have no funding required so no overhang.

this is fully funded and we all know how big the prize is, I prefer to have someone that fully understands the project, and optimise the drill than a promotor of the project. I think Ian will drive the rig contract to conclusion and then its onto the operational side which our previous CEO didnt know enough about where Lorna does.

quite frankly we just want a rig and services signed and a drill date pencilled into the diary. my money is on may drill , this month rig, leaving enough time for long lead times etc

DM tried and ultimately failed. Now they want an immediate success story.

As I posted last night, the company has gone straight to contract no MOU, therefore it takes a couple more weeks plus the predator news last week, contracts don’t get signed over night. But I should think either slightly before or the week after we will have a contracted rig
