I don't think I got in early enough to recoup that all of that disaster Matty but you never know....even the amount I've recouped so far couldn't have come at a better time so am very thankful indeed. Staying up last night was a great experience too and haven't experienced that kind of excitement on a share since the 400% days at Nuog, which shockingly was over 3 years ago....where does time go?!
Might be an ignorant question but can anybody explain what impact a Hav-only buyout would have on share price? I appreciate some are keen on the special dividend scenario but I think a lot would also like see a direct impact on the share price, which I'm guessing wouldn't happen in the buyout scenario or am I missing something? Early career researcher on this share so go easy chaps!
Mattyboy, I feel blessed to be along for the ride....would have been amazing to have been in since lower levels but I'm already making greater gains than I imagined so soon after investing here; thanks again for your inadvertent GGP name-dropping on another board! AIM is bizarre though, a crooked share like Nuog can do 400%+ in a day after some random consortium agreements get signed (later proven to be worthless) and yet a share like this, which has literally struck gold, would be very lucky to do 100% in a day. I appreciate it's done over 1000% cumulatively though over these last months and maybe that's another key difference; the gradual increments reflect a well-run, methodical company with steady newsflow. Onwards and upwards and thanks again!
P.S. Taverham/debcashew, agree about Barclays.....the stupid thing is their previous platform was much more user friendly!
Muros is lovely. I could ramble for hours about Asturias and Galicia but I'm already in danger of getting shot down for OTs today so I'll try and keep it brief! I lived in Coruna and Pontevedra....both beautiful but the Vigo/Pontevedra area has a micro-climate that definitely makes a difference considering they're only an hour or two south of Coruna. Coruna is beautiful but seriously windy! The beaches are stunning all along that coast due to the rias. Asturias is spectacular and also unique in that you can be sitting on an a stunning beach then within an hour's drive be in the amazing Picos. It isn't called Green Spain for nothing but the climate is still pretty enviable imo and the south is going to be too hot to live at some stage anyway. Northern Portugal is lovely too and as a city I can't recommend Porto enough. Wish you all the best and if this comes as good as some are suggesting then I'll come and toast your new place!
Nice post Muel and I'd say you have a sensible wife ;) Mushroom, my parents lived in Asturias for a number of years and I lived in Galicia, just over the border from northern Portugal. Both are stunningly beautiful areas and fortunately still undiscovered by the Benidorm brigade....I'd say you have a sensible wife too!!
Unfortunately not Costa, people do get influenced, which is why so many posters lurk on these boards with specific agendas, some being paid for it. I'm not saying that's happening here and as already mentioned, GGP seems a very different outfit to the crooks behind Nuog. I'm only here to read mostly rather than post.....I've made my mistakes getting too involved in bb chat before, however, I just felt the need to comment on Scottie/Kemper posts due to my own experience in that area.
Scottie, just a short addendum to kempey's post. Whilst it's entirely down to individual circumstances whether you speak to family about it, it's definitely best to speak to someone rather than keep it to yourself. We're still just gamblers at the end of the day, even if we like to think we're more intelligent or better informed than BetFred punters.
Whichever way you look at it, statistics prove that it can be a very dark road for the (mostly males) who lose large amounts of money on gambling, especially if you bottle it all up and don't speak to anyone. I lost £10k on BMR and £25k+ on Nuog (after being £20k up on Nuog and getting greedy). At that time the Nuog discussion board was very similar to here, some very well informed posters selling the dream. That ended in tears and I'm certainly not saying it's the case here as this appears a completely different outfit and much better investment indicators, however, I agree with Timbertrader that each individual should be left to make their own choices and not be influenced by posters on these boards, well intended or otherwise. I would echo those queries Jonno, which appear to have been answered (thanks) but is there likely to be a qualifying period for shareholders or would it apply to anybody with shares at the time of announcement? I use Barclays and they don't seem the best at sharing company communications to shareholders, then again could just be the duff AIM companies I've chosen being crap at comms (present company excluded)!
Sorry bud, my bad!
WW, doesn't your first name begin with P?? (trying not to disclose names on here)
WW, why still interested when you're hoping they don't re-list? If you've sold out then might be logical to move on?
What on earth are you on about? If everyone applied that logic then they'd never sell a single share, forever afraid that whoever buys that share might have made the wrong choice. We all make our decisions, Mr. Partridge, and if someone chooses to buy on a spike then perhaps they are in the wrong game anyway. You also conveniently forgot my third scenario, where the company re-lists as a stronger offering. You should consider politics, you have that slippery personality that would go far ...
Trellis, interesting you appear again after more bad news on your share. It sucks that you guys got screwed over and you know we did here too under Minty, however, the way you and Partridge follow these directors around via the discussion boards is pure emotion and not very unbecoming. Nobody knows what the future holds here. It could be suspension then de-listing, or it could be spike then suspension then de-listing, or it could be a spike then suspension then re-listing as a stronger company. The fact is there remains a chance for existing holders to salvage some of their losses, albeit the risks are as high as ever with this share.
I think you'll find that holders here don't have an issue with unpalatable facts, in fact we've seasoned veterans on that front. What we have an issue with is fortune tellers from other shares coming and spreading their woes on this board. If you want to warn about the track records of directors then so be it but quit trying to predict the future, it's amateur and childish.
Selective reading from you Partridge, as always. The 'Andy' you refer to was formally introduced earlier in the Coro RNS, as you well know: "Andrew Dennan, the Company's CFO, has elected to become a Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect".
I feel for shareholders there but as always you are only painting half the picture. You neglect to mention what happened to Coro just after it started, which is more aligned to the stage we are at now (if we successfully complete an RTO). You're a very slippery customer indeed, Mr. Partridge....maybe we should swap species in our pseudos?
Good news for you anyway as your MO as been extended by 6 months. You and marbur can hold a benefits street pyjama party to celebrate.
Partiridge, is that you trying to display the 6 degrees of separation theory via Nuog? Struggling to keep up tbh, you must really have a lot of time on your hands to do this much research on a company you're adamant is de-listing? My 6 degrees of separation theory is that you're behind the last 2 big buys Partridge....by my calculations that's 4 more big buys to come and then we have the full link between you and your unhealthy interest in this share?
"the desperation exhibited by shareholders on this board" Partridge, most of the interactions on this board for the last few months have been you and marbur talking to each other, then latterly you talking to yourself on here and marbur talking to himself on Twitter. Existing holders are doing very little ramping whatsoever. This so-called battle you are fighting against rampers , like most things it seems, is inside your own head. Go forth, find a life and preferably take your monologues with you.
