The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
How is it scaremongering? If we give them what they want today and they continue with non-delivery and lack of transparency then an EGM is surely the logical course of action? If it comes to that then we're all f*cked as it will mean they still haven't delivered but it has to be there as an option, surely?
Although I suggested it initially, I don't think minted is Roy. Yesterday he was requesting the return of Minty.....I think Roy would rather stick pins in his eyes than that!!
You definitely aren't Roy in that case! Yes, probably another dud move by shareholders in an attempt to rebel as it seems Minty is still pulling the strings anyway, as well as dishing out a good bit of narcissistic punishment in the process. The issue is that shareholders shouldn't have felt the need to rebel in the first place as company goals and success should always have been aligned with that of shareholders. Probably a naive comment considering it's AIM but hey ho....
Minted, I agree but you have the luxury of commentating on everything with little or no skin in the game. I'm not happy about it but the OO wasn't fit for purpose anyway. I'm fully behind an alternative means of linking shareholder success with BOD success but imo they win on the OO issue.
It does seem like the only chance we have of recovering some value is for the mini rebellion to end and to let them back up their claims that things would be a lot different without the OO. Tough pill to swallow when they've produced zero in the years before the OO and zero in the months after it but I guess they win on this occasion and only option is to pass the resolution?
Agreed but surely they must have foreseen the placing months in advance and guessed the SP wouldn't be any higher by that point...unless they thought the collaboration agreements would push it up more than they did? It's true the OO has clearly played a role in Novum skinning us alive but there was too much emphasis in the podcast on it being the sole cause and as usual the company taking little responsibility.
Despite my anger, you might actually be right about progress Rox it's just that they are unbelievably inept at explaining how and based on completed deals to date we tend to draw our own conclusions.....
Exactly Rox, there's nothing to stop clearer updates other than the same old Nuog tactic of disclosure compromising deals. Where are all these fabled f*cking top secret deals ?! The trouble is that they can play that card over and again and already have with the marginal field strategy. If they at least came clean after each failed attempt then it might at least give us some sense that they've been doing actual work with all this money they've had.
Here we are yet again with the same posters claiming Nuog wouldn't dare call a GM of this nature without delivering something of substance beforehand. It's an exact replica of the chain of events on this bb leading up to the AGM. The same posters then mysteriously begin suggesting there might be a deal ready to go just as soon as the OO has been scrapped; it's an absolute joke. I'm not even a fan of the OO in its current form but it p*sses me off that they are blaming everything on it and suggesting that if it's removed then everything will be peachy.
Agreed timbo
At least he has finally spoken but seriously scummy blaming the share price decimation and whole current debacle on the OO. Perhaps he could have explained why Damien didn't foresee a placing when the share price was over 1p and before the OO was in place?? I'm glad he's happy with progress over these 5 months....presumably he means he has managed to reach a new level in minecraft?
So presumably what we can take from this is that they are making it as difficult as possible for people to attend or vote, which doesn't fill me with confidence on what they plan to say or deliver to help pass the resolution?!
Looks like that eagle can't make up his mind but looks like you're both authentic so good news there!
Sorry was in a meeting...will send both a message now....can you post it back on here? Thanks
Bill, same process for you if you're happy with that?
Cobrakai821 :)
I clicked on 'inbox' but it says you need Premium to use that facility. Think we'll need to go down the Twitter route again. I've created a similar profile to before....if I give you the handle then you add me, I can give you something to post back to me on here to be sure it's you....sound ok?
Bill, great to see you're thinking along the same lines....I agree with all of those points. Wob, it would be good to have Bill in on discussions if possible. You never know, they may still give us something beforehand but I think it would be churlish to pin our hopes on that so I'm still up for some coordinated planning.
Ok sounds good...can I still receive a pm without being a premium member?
Agreed. No, I'm not using annual leave and spending a penny more on them until I know what's going on. If they are rounding people up to basically just say that they want to pass the resolution and very little else then I wouldn't trust myself to be there in person. I'm wary of the Twitter route again but I guess at least it would keep things off the public forums. I think we'd be wise to ringers entering uninvited this time too. Any thoughts? Hang on until Tuesday or Wednesday or get cracking now?
Agreed Wob. A lot will depend on what emerges before and during the meeting. I just think that thinking collectively we should be able to outfox the sly old fox without compromising shareholder value....the tail is currently wagging the dog and it happens too often on AIM.
