RE: Share price predictions for next week ending Friday 24/418 Apr 2026 19:21
Step 1: Resource size
From earlier: about ~600,000 tonnes of LCE at the Zulu project owned by Premier African Minerals.
Step 2: Lithium price (very variable)
Lithium prices swing a lot:
2022 peak: ~$70,000 per tonne
2024–2025 range: roughly $10,000–$20,000 per tonne
Step 3: Rough in-ground value
Multiply:
Low case ($10k/t):
600,000 × $10,000 ≈ $6 billion
Mid case ($15k/t):
≈ $9 billion
High case ($20k/t):
≈ $12 billion
⸻
⚠️ Important reality check
That does NOT mean the company is worth $6–12 billion. The actual value is much lower because:
Mining, processing, and infrastructure cost a lot
Not all lithium can be economically extracted
Time (it takes years to produce) reduces value
Political and operational risks matter
In practice, early-stage lithium projects are often valued at 5–20% of in-ground value.
👉 So a more realistic project/company valuation might be something like:
~$300 million to $2 billion (very rough range)
Once this gets going I expect the ride will be just as good as smarter web company rise which went from 3p to 600p (200 times increase)
One could argue this could be worth £500m to £1billion. (100 to 200 times the current valuation.
