900k sell just gone through is actually a buy, MMs dropped the actual bid to try to get some shares, consistent buying pressure and this will fly, let's prove the chartists right and hit 1.7p :-)

Some good solid buying in the past couple of hours, last trade of circa 90k shares is a BUY as well, currently 5.17p to BUY.

It's based upon an algorithm and the spread, the BUY / SELL is stated based upon whether the trade price is closest to the BID or the ASK. The MMs have no influence over this trade definition, however what they can do is move the spread so that the algorithm supports their requirements.

Totally agree JD, whether you look at the raise as a discount of 20% on recent highs or 5% on Friday's close it is still not a significant discount. In addition to this, the reasoning is legitimate and very exciting, it's not a case of keeping the lights on, to support due diligence and significantly ramp up lab etc. This is only going to support the future growth of the business and in turn the SP, if you believe in the long term, this is great news, if you bought for the very short term, well...............

Totally agree bots, MMs trying to accumulate at this ridiculously low price in advance of some juicy news arriving.

Don't be fooled by the trades printed as sells, the last 5 trades are definitely Buys, looks like the MMs are after shares again, maybe Mr 10m fancies another chunk or 5.

I can think of another name for the FG........... Sadly alot of PIs get tricked by this.

dev, if the trade is above a certain size the MMs can delay showing it. What they do is move the spread so that when it is printed it shows as a SELL, even though it was a BUY and vice versa. Always worth checking the timestamp to understand the real direction of the trade, sadly alot of PIs go with the direction printed and therefore this can influence their trading decisions...........

The MMs want your shares, BID raised after that £10k sell. I think Mr 10m is still after some more.

I think that was a sell Baserite based upon the trades around it at the time, probably someone who doesn't have the patience to watch this one play out for big rewards.

Agreed, think the MMs may be short of stock, pretty relentless buying, the MMs let it run briefly and then dropped it back on a handful of sells, as per usual PIs panic and hand them their shares cheaply, so frustrating.
