Yet another accretive acquisition. I like that our chairman's company owns almost a quarter of volex. His interests certainly aligned with shareholders.
Still heavy sellers around despite large pullback since mid sept. I was expecting to see director buys but nothing yet and no news flow that I can see. Maybe not bottomed out yet but looks more upside than down to me.
Stripping out the £10m cash, the discount to nav of investments is 48%! Crazy. Just an overlooked anomaly
And still it drifts down. Maybe 500p will be a floor. Chinese market closure doesn't help, and general disaffection with Chinese companies.
I think 500 will look very cheap in 12-24 months time. Good pipeline.
Dyor.
Just sold 56.3% of my holding via the tender @321. Buying back 10k shares @291p. Great deal.
ST analysed scenarios and predicts 164p take out before long. I think it could be more. Bnpl growing fast
Just written up by ST as a hold. Same as his last review- since when, sp up c16%.
I think he overstates regulatory risk and under estimates usa potential. (no mention of WMH)
Also no mention of market consolidation upside.
He seems not to like 888 for some reason. Happens sometimes!
Followed by 2 x £110k sales. Coincidence?
And someone bought 100k yesterday. If it looks like a fish and smells like a fish....
Just added a few using div proceeds in my Isa from elsewhere. Redx is so far below the radar it will hit the runway soon! Then take off maybe at next rns. Way more upside than downside in my view
Down over 16% in 4 weeks. Why? I thought it good value at 120 ( and ST in InvChrn set target of 175) and it looks very very cheap at 97p now.
Have I missed some news? Or is it just drifting due to lack of news?
By Edmond Jackson in II. Good analysis of trading update and encouraging to see director buying of this rather overlooked stock.
now down c25% since mid may on very thin volume. Results due 27/7. Looks way more upside than downside to me.
Due to the unusual share structure now, with just a few of us tail end Charlies, sentiment has little impact so sp drifts down through sheer lack of interest, inbetween 'events'. But those events are highly geared so sp will move significantly in either direction, depending upon the 'event'. My bet is that the upside is much greater than downside, so I am happy to tuck this away and forget about it for now.
Su h a quiet board. €49m contract win announced by RNS today. Significant marker which is likely to lead to further wins. After recent sp fall back this looks very cheap imo.
Maybe a little nervousness ahead of update this week but a very well managed business in an expanding sector. Happy to lock away more at what looks a bargain basement price.
Just been offered 596. didnt take it though!
too long an article to summarise and as a paying subscriber I dont think I should upload it free.sorry
Because tipped again by Simon Thompson today so sp marked up-and spread widened! Notable that no director buying for 18 months when several bought at 56p - or maybe they were 'allicated' (I didn't check. Not clear what it will take to reduce the discount, without a bid.
