Lucyd was never my reason for buying TEK. I still have more confidence in the other 3 companies. However, Lucy has already surprised me and i am happy to have it as part of the portfolio. It is not that i don't believe in it. It is more that i need more clarity. I would like to understand more about the likely trajectory. Some analysis will come out now that they are listed.

I think these concerns will somewhat be put to bed if we see continued high revenue growth in the next release. $21 million market cap doesn't seem ridiculously high to me. I guess we are in a phase of the market where firms like these don't really have the benefit of the doubt and have to prove themselves.

I have been thinking about the valuation for Lucy. The market cap is quite high for the current revenues. I think if we see the growth that is hoped for then it should settle. Just seems that their is a lack of information and clarity at the moment.

On Bell, it is pretty obvious already that the already high growth expectations will be met, and probably exceeded (like last time). On that one seems pretty obvious that it will rebound fairly easily.

Even with Bell and Lucy dipping it just means that fair value of TEK is more like 45 or 50p rather than the 65p as before. That is not counting the possible break out news from Guidant and Salarius.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to barnetpeter's valuation. Seems to have plucked it out of thin air.

What do you think is a reasonable valuation for Lucy?

I am not sure i would necessarily expect Cliff to be presenting new info. A lot of these presentations, as part of a series of companies by other companies, are a basic summary to bring the company to the attention of new investors, rather than for our benefit.

The counterargument is that once it is listed you can buy Microsalt yourself. Arguably, Tekcapital should stick to early stage startups.

Better not to announce to the market when they about to sell. Do it in a seamless way instead. We know it won't be immediate as they have a lock in period. Of course the share price could go down over the next 12 months, but that is true with any investment. If you are worried about volatility, then small high growth companies might not be the best investment for you lordloadsoflolly.

Why would share price be at 30p now if it is going to be at 49p in the future? Because share prices move...

Great post TrustedInvestor, that is what i was saying yesterday. Was really weird that PIs were selling on the basis of the IPO given the unit price was still around $7.5. I think it has been really positive to get it through and there seems to be a lot of volume which is good to see.

I agree that TEK should have explained how this works ahead of time.

Just shows you how fickle investors are. Reading a lot of the comments, the take home message i get is people don't really have strong reasons to sell.

As ever, i don't really care so much about the daily moves in the stock price but the underlying business. It has been growing very quickly over the past year. Almost 400% increase in revenue. I would be very interested in seeing some analyst coverage for Lucy though.

I would say there the price discovery process can be quite erratic one. Especially for a smaller IPO. In any case i am happy that the stock is out there and finding its feet.

I tend to be leaning towards your view TopCatz, lower inflation should improve sentiment and support stock prices. Feels good for this Lucyd IPO to get off the ground in short order.
