Is there a lot of money to be made in salt shakers?

I am expecting the Microsalt IPO to bring a lot of publicity and help out a lot.

Hi Seaman, Isn't that a good thing though from an investing point of view. If it was already adopted in every product then it would be surely too late. Getting those massive Fortune 500 clients onboard is key and then the rest is easy.

Not seen much attention on the Q3 results released last week for LUCY.

What do you think the buy out value would be? Do we want the companies to be picked off at basement levels?

I don't get this narrative that TEK is all potential and never delivers. The last results released for H1 2022 showed a 243% increase in income YoY. It is very much on schedule.

Let's hope he does better than with twitter...

Great article. Makes me think there will be massive publicity when Microsalt IPO early next year. Such a compelling product and easy to understand the investment case.

I am very much a takeover at these low levels. Especially with BELL which i think has a lot of potential to run up when the numbers start coming in.

Yes, filtered as well. Makes me angry that people with such limited investment acumen can have such an outsized effect on the SP.

Seaman, hopefully we will get to the stage where all manufacturers will have to use the product to get salt content down, otherwise they will not be able to compete.

Having these prestigious figures in the industry endorse the business can not be understated for a startup, and provides credibility with established industry players. These connections that she has in the UK are a massive boon for Microsalt. Walking around UK supermarkets there is definitely a dearth of healthier crisp/snack options and with the success of the Kroger rollout in the US, seemingly a pretty easy extension to the UK market.

I still don't see it. For me it would make more sense to be bought out by someone like Siemens if a trade sale is the route taken.

I don't necessarily see the synergy in being taken over by Tesla. A large part of its value is being able to offer services to all auto manufacturers. Would Tesla just use it on its own vehicles?

I think there are 2 things at play. Firstly, some people think that the fair value is basically where the SP is. This is a form of anchoring bias. They are unable to look at the fair value of the business itself. Secondly, i think a lot of people just enjoy being provocative.
