Possibly, my memory fades, apologies if so
I seem to remember from conversations last year that Pfc received a bid at £9 a share but turned it down and not not inform shareholders. Can anyone remember the detail?
I know you could have done that yourself Vet, just trying to be helpful.
I just hope that a peer piles in with an offer to unlock that potential £8bn

Tim,
You need some of what Mav has for breakfast 😉
Fingers crossed
Snappy,
Why the anger?
You’re not even invested, thanks for your concern though but it does make you look slightly unhinged.
If apothecary wants to invest in pfc that’s up to him. Ranting about him doing so and insulting him, he didn’t insult you, when clearly you have no interest here smacks of agenda
Snappy,
What’s your take on what’s been going on, massive upside last week, down days this week.
Fill me in…..
What’s your opinion?
I love you snappers, your posts rock my world
Aye up snappy, how’s life on your yacht?
Missed you xx
Someone will pile in with a reference to carillion in a minute, I guarantee…….,
I cannot believe that a company of this size, with its global reach into specialist markets, all the staff, the order book as it stands and the free accumulative years of experience that go with it, spread across the world can just disappear.
Makes no sense to me.
I do agree with that
However the major chip holders haven’t cashed in so what’s all that about.
What is your position here? In/out/short?
al4x
always an arm around you for comfort while ******* on your shoe
sincerely i mean no disrespect however this is how you come across
There is only one article suggesting potential suitors floating around in the media and we still have radio silence from Pfc
Thanks Yorkshire,
I guess there’s always wiggle room and ambiguity regarding these matters. I’m just intrigued about who or what was driving last weeks increase
Hi All,
Having read that article regarding the rules over announcements regarding informing the market, I’m inclined to agree with Paul Curtis about the creation of a false market and the lack of comunication from Pfc regarding its meteoric rise since suspension was lifted. It does point to the fact, if PFC are following protocol, that no such offer exists.
Anyones thoughts gratefully received.
Thanks
To be fair to Ivor he’s not discussing the fundamentals that he previously did and his belief that they were rubbish, he’s talking about a takeover that is since last week a genuine possibility and he’s now positive on this. Nothing wrong with backing a different set of circumstances is there?
Different discussion topic altogether.
Hi shahz,
The board didn’t say much or anything at all if I remember rightly when the share price fell from 80p into the twenties between September and december last year. I guess it works both ways.
Very frustrating for all
What’s your point mate?
We were at 10.5p and it’s risen to 22p with no change in short holding.
