Not meaning to sound angry but after losing £18k due to QPPs dramatic sharefall in 2015, which some argue, including myself, was caused by misinformation re and mismanagement of QPP, I wish the most unhappy of lives on Mr Terry and his family in every way possible. Not that I believe any curse is really needed for such a result as rarely do we not reap what we sow !! Material possessions, and Mr Terry appears to be over-reliant on those, do not of themselves provide true happiness, so let's let life's natural process be our revenge without worries about possible court cases like the dropped potential YLF case against RT !! There are many nasty things that will befall our QPP ex-Chairman in the future......!!

S8, you seem to be all over the place !! Today, you say you may buy shares rather than shorts if price below 700p. GL on your gains from shorts but RPC isn't going bust. We need plastic, as always it is mankind who are the culprits. If humans disposed of plastic as they shd and not littering, then all this fuss would not exist. Blue Planet blames the plastics themselves but plastic is not to blame, humans are the ones who shd be targeted, similar to guns.....funny ole world !

In the last half hour, this share has plummetted, no news anywhere so why ?

SocGen have a 8000p sp target on SHP, most others have targets well above current level. Donald J cannot set specific drug prices without leaving margins acceptable to the pharma cos taking risks re r & d, etc..into a/c also. Lead time from R & D to Market spans years and Donald J and others would not risk, for example, research and dev not being done on a specific area and then many people dying years later as a result. The Risk Cost V Benefit still has to be maintained !!

Moodys give an investment grade rating at stable (good expectations to monetise acquisitions, etc..) and shorters move in.....all the expert brokerages and investment banks rating this stock cannot be wrong and all have targets well above current sp.............how fickle investors/traders are !!

Buys 2.9m, Sells 2.2m, if these stats on here are correct, eg allocated correctly, sp down over 5%. Looks like auto programmes at work where many small single volume sells, eg 10, 5, 8, etc...cause more dramatic sp drops than much larger single volume buys cause sp rises ? Looks like someone is buying in big and analyst ratings today/ tomorrow hopefully shd enhance the sp. I'm a significant Lt holder and find the day trading too risky as easy to get things wrong !

Are there doubts re the interims ? Even the buybacks aren't halting this recent pull downwards ?

Why are there so many positive ratings for RPC if some think of it in the same category as Rob Terry's Quindell ? RPC is very profitable, growing by acquisition and merging successfully. To hell with criticism of the number of plates !! Some can juggle many more plates than others.

May be shorting (spread over many clients) rather than 'dumping'. May also be trying to pull the sp down enough so that purchases can then be made at lower prices. Others selling are helping the future buyer do the latter. I await an sp recovery as fast as the drop, but of course don't know where the bottom will be !!

Class action against irrational criticism maybe one route. When figure results come out and RPC continues to grow then the sp will recover. These evil b..tards who scare ordinary investors into losing their money to them are miserable beings who will/are being punished, what goes around always comes around in one way or another. I'm holding, not selling my 8,000 shares, as all the analysts covering this share have a BUY. Also major Lt holders are Black rock, AXA, etc

Surely the Share Mag doesn't influence the sp to drop it by 8% ? RPC is still in progress of integrating its new acquisitions so RoC not optimised yet. Numis reiterates BUY today with 1200p target and another 4 or so have 1140p targets so surely they are relevant and unlikely to all be wrong.

If Mm's might know something about RPC that is neither in the public domain nor known by the Investment Banks who have BUY Ratings at 1140p'ish, then there are illegalities afloat ! Strengthening GBP is only reason I can see for today's drop and that is really only a book transaction as RPC's results are reported in GBP. They are well diversified with GBP, USD as well as Euro, etc.. Must be manipulation unless some news comes out tomorrow.

Redundancy payments would then be due. Unions or not, the law is the law, and I' d be surprised if the employees (managers/dep mgrs) didn't band together and start a class action. What would you do if it was you, I would certainly fight my corner, what would they have to lose ?!!!!

FAO Caristom - what is your source for what sounds like such a ridiculous statement re WMH managers and dep mgrs ? They do have employment contracts you realise and these cannot be changed for major terms without agreement by both employer and employee ?

Worst time to sell is after they've tanked. If your a long-termer, hold and/or buy some more, but they may drop more so maybe hold and buy more later !! I also have BARC but am certainly not selling at current levels. What amazes me is that BREXIT is actually up to 2 years away if no second referendum and markets look 6 - 9 months ahead. Aliens could land and take over in 12 months time !! More than likely, UK will end up something like Norway or Switzerland as it is in EU interests to maintain amicable relationship with UK. So what's all the fuss about. Willy Walsh has reiterated that long-term, IAG will not be affected materially by BREXIT and I believe him. Air travel is growing as oil remains cheap.

One could be excused for wondering would cats and dogs have voted more responsibly ? Many hadn't even decided before arriving at the voting stations on such an important decision. Should there exist a licence, that one must pass a test to acquire, to allow adults to vote as driving a car requires far less skill, intelligence and knowledge than a vote like yesterday's ? What a farce and the pensioners who voted Leave will regret so doing in a few years when there pensions are much lower than now. However, a lot of the panic in the markets is overdone at the expense of panicking pi's. I'm holding and not selling anything based on this result and will wait until the dust settles. Bought Proxama (PROX) this morning as having very good potential if anyone interested in very small caps. Aviva has announced that Leave result won't affect their operations as they have subsidiaries all over Europe - down 17% caused initially by panic and BOT programs. Avoid this market manipulation unless you're day trading.

Why do you see a drop to £1 ? On what basis ? Travel is on the increase. ISIS are being beaten. Oil is forecast to stay about 50 dollars. Hostels are cheaper than hotels so shd do better with lower growth. HSW expanding into China area, etc..Major shareholders have 22% and 6%. Co is cash generative with strong bal sht. Manipulation en masse. All brokers have pt higher than 150p. I'm a long-termer not a day trader.

Look at the fundamentals. World awash with oil, Iran coming on stream, World growth slowing, SArabia clear on maintaining their Market Share, clear rebuttal of rumours re Russia statement. This is a value trap for those buying the oil sector. IAG is growing, oil is very cheap, holiday season is approaching, most won't be deterred by IS/Daesh (if any of those cowards-and make no mistake about it, that is what they are-blow me up, I'll be waiting on the other side to deal with them, not in a cowardly way but face to face one to one, so my holiday flights are already booked with IAG !!

Mabsy, perhaps you sell out too soon. These are higher risk volatile stocks and a longer term is usually advisable. Today, there were three v high volume trades v normal average ones. They were for circa 600,000 shares @ 16.75p ish so someone has confidence. Even the old QPP as Waterstone may eventually get back to its highs but v risky !! I wouldn't sell BLNX at these levels, too low close to their cash bal and the operation definitely has a higher value than the market value - Cash.
