To be honest, if you're high leverage on BTC you're probably going to be liquidated by a spike. Let's just hope they push ahead with approval as a delay at this point would be a total pain for all of us.

Thinking on twitter is that it was a sec internal mistake (draft published too early) or breach (disgruntled employee/contractor) rather than a hack.

Logically hackers could have made a killing by shorting BTC and posting that it had been rejected.

Hopefully they just approve today as planned. It would actually take the heat off them where a delay would make their lives a lot harder.

Oppenheimer, NASDAQ Index was up 2% yesterday, and bitcoin is at 12 month+ highs.

Agree BP, it is very sad. So much potential and opportunity squandered. Great bonus opportunities for those at the top though. Endemic across the sector though to be fair. Still got my Argo hoodie down the back of a cupboard somewhere. Can't see myself wearing it again lol.

8-10th is the approval window with 10th being the expected date.

They sold their BTC hodl a long time ago, and have 70 mil of debt or so. Think it was 30mil to galaxy and 40mil to bond holders - don't quote me on these figures but something like that. Think the interest rate on galaxy debt was about 16% and secured against their miners, so really they have to pay it or else they have no mining business.

No mention of pluto/emergent, the last book value was 2mil or so I think. You'll likely see an update on the next quarterly in the fine print somewhere. But yes safe to assume that's a write off.

I don't see the etf getting rejected, but the actual impact on BTC price of approval who knows. Probably mania, but whether it's a short lived spike or a proper bull run who knows.

This company survives if there is a bull run and they raise enough to clear their debts and raise more again for growth. Don't think they can survive in their own steam.

Given the history of this company it's surprising the new CEO has not put out a video yet. Also too much focus on bonuses paperwork.

Why raise so little? Hasn't solved the debt problems at all. Are they going to keep doing small raises like this killing momentum?

Clsk will be looking for m&a opportunities post halving so will be getting their paperwork in order. Although all the miners will be at it so dilution bingo this quarter no doubt. Mara best to weather dilution with their volume, although you still notice it when it happens.
