Short and distort (S&D) refers to an unethical practice that involves shorting a stock and then spreading rumors in an attempt to drive down its price.
S&D traders manipulate stock prices by conducting smear campaigns, often online, to drive down the price of the targeted stock.Short and distort" traders clutter message boards, which makes it very difficult for an investor to verify the claims. "Get out before it all comes crashing down" and "Investors who wish to enter a class action lawsuit can contact…" are typical posts, as are their projections of £0 stock prices and 100% losses. Any individual or entity that attempts to contradict their claims becomes the target of their attacks. In other words, the market manipulator will do everything in his or her power to keep the truth from coming out and keep the targeted stock's price heading down.

I can't make any predictions on what amigo (BOD) are going to do in the future and what hurdles will be put in front of them going forward, all i do see is that the BOD are striving to to keep Amigo going.
I started here so long ago I cant remember the date. my buy in was 13p+ and I managed to get that average down to just under 10p. I then sold a chunk of my shares at 26p and bought back at 16p. This is when it all went south. I now hold far more shares than I started with but with an average of 13p. If i was to take my initial purchase and top ups and divided my average is 7.6p so I am still down considerably. On Monday I will be purcasing a few more and bring my average to 7.1p.
I doubt there are many on here that have been here as long as I have and most didn't expect all the woes but what I can see is the BOD have been transparent and are trying hard to get this to work. Thats a lot more than I can say for other company BOD's. THIS IS WHY I HAVE FAITH IN THIS INVESTMENT.
So you can see why i get a little mythed about negative posts from people not invested.

What i do predict is the share price will be considerably higher in a weeks time than it is today. This will not get all of my investment back but it will improve my position.
Good luck to others out there like me and the more people that want Amigo shares, will help my position improve. (That's why i'm biased) I can not be anymore open.

I Wrote this quite some time ago but it applies here.
Generally there are negative and positive posts.
Positive posts are by people that are invested in the company.
Negative posts on the other hand have different agenda.
1...Deramping because they are pure 4rseholes.
2...Deramping because they want to get in at a lower price (They actually like the company)
3...Deramping because they have sold at a loss, are bitter and become 4rseholes
4...Deramping because they are holding at a significant loss (these are the strange ones, this doesn't help their cause but they are hurt, and you have to give these a little sympathy)
5....Deramping because they have a short position
I have been at this game a while, I have rarely seen positive comments made by people that are not invested.
I have not seen negative comments given unless they have an agenda to get the price lower (They are not there to help or advise the investors) they are there to get you to sell.

Of course i'm bias, I'm invested here so want this to do well. I have never said anything else. Everyone here knows my stance.
I don't understand why someone would want to come on the board and post negative unless bitter, wanting to get in at a lower price or a short.
If i'm not invested in a share, I rarely post on the board as I am not overly interested.

I've been here for far too long and I have used this large drop to lower my average.
I really do think this will work out and amigo will go on.
What today's drop has done is allowed me to get my average lower than it was yesterday.
I also think this is a bloody cheap entry point.
As you said most here have paid a lot more than 4p
This will rise before the court case as it did the last time, this time we are in a far better position too.

I actually did mean from where it was a week ago.
I am a long term holder and i am 65% down, which is better than the 80% i was.
So what youre telling me is you got out before the drop and bought in at a low...Lucky you. Its surprising how many posters like you are always in profit with their buys....But still seem bitter.

Only 7 full days before court. This has risen lovely and a lot earlier than I expected.
The positivity is high, most know that Amigo have strived to succeed and the S.P will boom in the next few days.

Seems to me most are happy with the way this is going.
I expect big rises this week, especially if Bybrook have sold up.
Fomo investors won't leave ot much longer as they know its about to burst out.
GLA it's been along time waiting.

But if any of these steps fail, it will drop to practically ZERO. keep that in mind.
I'm positive about it working out and thats why i'm invested but please make your own mind up.
I've been here far too long and wish i hadn't been, Amigo always seems to find another hurdle to jump but I do feel we are coming to an end of that.

History shows it will rise before the court case, mainly from FOMO investors, if it passes (Looking very positive) it will rise again, then it goes to the vote and it will possibly rise slightly again...Now if it is successful with the vote it will definitely rise again.

So....I get the feeling that most think it isn't even a 50/50 of failure.
In that case if I put a tenner on evens I get £20 back if it wins, With amigo it could give me x3, x5, x10.
If I was I betting man, this would be brilliant odds.

Amgo has kept me here 2 years longer than I expected but the I believe this is stronger now than ever, I sold my shares at 28p and then bought back in at 16p, I nearly doubled my investment in shares but are still down from my initial purchase of 13p. Average just short of 10p

looks like Amigo will continue. Not worth the £3.00 it was at but surely going to be worth a lot more than 6p.

I personally think you're right.
If the last court case is anything to go by, I might break even before the 16th. I reckon people will start to pile in very soon awaiting the hearing(probably next week, fomo 6p). I have bought a few more at this price, but considering how many i have accumlated over the last 2 years or so, it hardly brings down my average. Still confident the board can turn this around.

Biglippy. I read you've been here for about a year, I've been in for 2 years, just after all this negativity started (I was look for a quick win). i'm about 40% down atm. 9.91p average with far more shares than I wish to mention. I hope you weren't one that got pulled in with he court case and vote.
