PGE, informative post but I think there is a misunderstanding. You went on tangent about Tesla sourcing direct from resource suppliers, manufacturing cars in a more efficient manner, profit margins vs other car manufactures, numerous patients, charging infrastructure, Chinese, etc etc.

I’m very much aware of Tesla was a pioneer in partnering with mining companies and various manufacturing processes. In simple terms, my short post was stating I doubt Tesla would partner up with other car manufactures such as GM in the resource space, first Tesla being extremely cash rich doesn’t need to partner even to spread risk and more importantly Musk’s ego is too big. In 2020, Musk tweeted miners to “please mine more nickel” and offered a “giant contract” to anyone who could do it sustainably. I’d say HZM fits the bill.

Nothing would rocket HZM more than a 3 letter tweet by Musk – HZM. The Tesla crowd would be here in minutes.

Doesn't even need to be one - just a couple of global automakers such as VW, Ford, Benz and BMW, They can get a large chunk of the action, and spread the risk among them. Tesla is more of a lone wolf, and would hurt Musk's ego to be linked with any other car company.

New ceo can't magically fund the project and likely very difficult find future funding as institutions are risk averse. Hence why they make ton of money and grow while PIs "invest" there money into shady companies such as gcat so they can 10 bag in a few months. Also, the obvious reason the lying bumbling fool hasn't released the quarterly reports is because they are not producing close to what he makes out.
