I don't understand why folks keep saying there wasn't an offer. It was said on the CC and more importantly in writing today. Please read, read and read again "Allowing a major take over an asset".

"As we have always said, any transaction has to sufficiently compensate Arc shareholders for allowing a major to take over an asset which we believe has significant potential to become a major tier-one".

Dont be surprised if AA give a better offer (like morrisons) and you wake up to a RnS advising we accept and dont be surprised if they officially walk away.

Anyone that bought at todays price is a winner.

Unfortunelty, I hold 2.5 shares with an average of 6.5p

Firm believer we will conclude something year....until then I would rather no look at my IG account...

It should be noted, that Nick and Remy clearly see the value of ARC and don't want to sell for anything.

Can anyone comment how much drilling Colin Bird had done at the neighbouring mine compared to ARC prior to the sale of for around to first Quantum for £250m. Also, copper was around half the price it is today when the sale was made.

My taking from today's RnS.

1. Take over bid was offered and rejected. To date no middle ground has been reached.

2. If ARC had announced the offer say £100m, or £200m the SP would of gone up.

3. ARC didn't announce the offer as they didn't want to rock the boat with AA. AA are still very much interested.

4. Recent sale of Morrisons which Rothschilds was advising. 1st offer rejected and 2nd offer came within two days for 800m more.

The EA ending is the best thing in the RnS.

All speculation, AA will do this now, AA will do that now. Just wait and see. Nearly everyone, including me thought we'd have a deal by EA deadline.

Im surprised the SP is not lower but I guess that was all the folks in it for a quick buck gone.

As much as I wanted a deal, am comfortable with the fundamentals going forward for ARC. Good things for those that wait.

Any day now folks, any day. I don't know about everyone else but I'm excited just to see the structure of the deal. There is so many possibilities!

15p would be a good start but I intend to be here much longer.

We are way off a regular divi. Special divi? Maybe.

Personally, I would prefer if the proceeds were used to advance the our projects forward.

Deal is done IMO, just waiting for the official announcement.

Totally separate work streams, not sure why folks would expect AA to be mentioned when this RnS is about drilling/air bourne survey.

Shouldn't ARC have released an RnS to notify the market of the extension....
