Russia isn't Iran or NK. We Europe do a huge amount of trade with them and Russian gas also keeps all the heating and lighting on.

Will there be pain? For sure but until I start seeing a FULL banning of swift and big sectoral sanctions I'm not overlay concerned but will monitor the situation closely. All Russia needs to do is to male a few moves/concessions and unity will crumble for the EU on how to punish Russia.

Within 2 weeks from today the Russians and Ukrainians will be having peace talks and the EU will be ready to do business again. Eager to do business like never before.

Europe leaving loopholes..."the right people". Seems it's going to be targeted and not a blanket ban.
