Yes, our multi billion strategic investors are waiting for their hundreds of millions of shares to be issued just so they can sell it for loss or a miniscule profit in the near term.

Derisks this stock even more as we have more money for A1.

They could request they are allowed to use it for A2 or they could return it to the lenders bring our debt down a very significant amount. Either way its a win-win, gives me much more comfort knowing we have such a large contingency.

I believe JM has more good surprises for us over the next few months. This has been a great RnS and the market agrees in these uncertain times. A2 will be fast tracked and that's big deal!!

PP - If surplus cash from these bargain purchases can be utilised for A2 that's great news but don't think thats the case. I'm sure there would be clauses which dictates it must can be used anywhere else apart from on A1. The lenders have only approved it for A1 development.

Would of been nice to have £60-£100m less dilution but what is done is done. Its only going to get better as we proceed.

Roll on A1 and A2 updates.

Apart from substantial cost saving, we are fast tracking A2. A great RnS all round which a gave us a needed boost.

Positive all round. The dilution should be minimal due to SP at the time.

Personally, I don't expect dilution for a few years at least if there is any at all and that's only once we have firm plans for A2 and V ie need funding or JV to build them. Even then I would like to think dillition is less likely as the A1 is producing and if dilution does occur it should be considerably smaller as the SP will be higher. Once A1 construction is near complete or producing our hand will be strong in any future negotiation.

Feel your pain, I'm underwater as well. Not sure about holding for years to recoup loses but it will take a while. The future is derisked to a great extent and I'll be topping up my SIPP with this. Only derisked stocks and this is one of them.

Hopefully the new year will bring consistent operational updates on construction and BoD buy some shares to show the market they have skin in the game.

Not strange, markets are terrible and December has been horrible from the get go.
