Here we have war and the WHOLE world is blaming Russia and punishing them economically. I will admit I never thought it would get this bad. The Thursday sanctions were russia getting a little slap in the face but the weekend sanctions were russia getting hit with a sledge hammer, a few kicks in the face, plus one in the balls. More to come folks....

At present this is very very risky, not just because your money could value but more importantly the situation is extremely fluid and will get worse before itngets better.

Oligarchs yes...the American reach is very very far. They use a tool called OFAC. All allies, partners and client states tremble at the thought of secondary sanctions and billion dollar fines. If they have any assets or funds in ally, partners and clients states they are at risk.

I would consider twice before traveling either for being arrested for "bribery or corruption" due American pressure and western gov sentiment at the moment. The world is more anti Russian than usual in these times.

I'm positive Putin wants out but he certainly doesn't want to look like he's being forced out due to military failures or sanctions. These peace talks might take a couple of weeks...

My concern is very strong negitive sentiment for obvious reasons, uncertainty on what tomorrow could bring -politically, military, or economically. I sold at 530 but just a little more clarity and I'm back in POLY, EVR and MNOD.

I see more risk with EVR as the Oligarch poster child and pal of Putin is the largest shareholder there. He was present at the peace talks today....

Boris must be loving this Ukraine situation. Everybody had forgotten partygate and he's looking like a "tough" leader.

Given the first wave of sanctions on Thursday we're a joke, I could of seen this going to 1000 in no time. However the sanctions that have been imposed now and further sanctions to come make the situation returning as before very dubious.

Yes yes I know its a "British company" but it's primarily Russian owned.
