Already getting out his nukes? It's posturing at best. What you think we don't have nukes to retaliate with. We have much bigger teeth then they do. USA, France and UKare nuclear armed and the umbrella extends to all of Nato.

None of the above will happen. Only some banks will be cut off. I believe its 70% to be cut off. They can use another bank for payments.

Unlikely trading will stop. A ceasefire will be reaches within short space of time.

Based on my intensive reading the last few days, they will be directly targeting specific oligarchs ie yachts, houses, money in banks etc. They won't be targeting companies with Russian assets unless the gov is somehow directly profiting.

I'll put my hands up and say I didn't think war will happen or if it did Russians would just take the East where its majority Russian. I am expecting the unexpected but I don't believw wests habds free to put whatever sanctions/penalties on Russia. Its strong militarily, politically and financially with 600bln in reserve.

Putin be wise to stop at the gates of Kiev and sue for peace ie Ukraine staying neutral. They will never join nato imo anyway, as states in conflict internal or external cant join.

This is not a full ban, they can't do that otherwise no way for them to buy for the oil and gas to keep the lights and heating on. Putin has planned this for a while now, he deliberately has kept gas supplies low enough that Europe stays on but can't accumulate gas in storage. Europe has only around 2 weeks gas in storage at present. Its nothing, and no way lng can supply us that much or quickly.
