What is the best broker to trade Valereum. Been in since the PGCE days and my shares are held in Lloyds which I cant trade. At this stage not planning to sell but would be grateful to get peoples views. I have seen the frustrations posted about HL.

Somebody taking advantage of the undervalue in this stock. Based on current production should be in 6p to 7p range, just a matter of time.

There does seem to be a little more emphasis and focus by the board of directors in the tone of the recent rns's. Perhaps they realise this is their time with a lot of irons in the fire. £6 million market cap is peanuts.

Hi Thornback. Your point is well made. Smoke and mirrors come to mind, particularly with the salary declaration currency issue. Not much we can do about it but focus on the broker targets and take our guide from them. If oil carries on at its current pace, everyones a winner.

Brent price $70 per barrel now. Lets put yesterday behind us and look to even better results going forward.

Pretty disappointed with the results today an EBITDA of £4 million should have been attainable on 2500boepd. Wasnt expecting such a drop in Romania. Hopefully Jeffery will address this drop in production with remedial action in Mondays presentation.

Hi Redtrader. I think you are spot on with your turnover figure but cost of production of $9 boepd would give us around $8 million gross. With last years admin expenses at around $3 million. I really think an Ebitda result of between £4-£5 million is in the offing for the quarter giving circa £16-£20 million pre Sancrai drill for the year and that is before write back of impairment arising out of higher oil prices. Even with a pe ratio of 5 this should put us around 9/10p. Unfortunately i am not expecting to get a full trading position but this is my take of where we are at.

Big few days ahead with the results on Thursday. Should see a significant rise in the lead up to this with high volume maintained. Over 25 million yesterday. Expecting 1st quarter revenue over $10 million.

This is so undervalued. Rerate will start by the end of this week or early next week before Q1 results.

Great post Neilin. I agree with all your sentiments. Lets hope the price goes up on 1st day of trading. My value at 10p is about 2/3rds my initial investment.

Any thoughts on year end 2020 figures? Really feel that Brian is moving this company along the value curve nicely. Still very much under the radar but unlike most of aims traded shares this feels like a keeper with the Jamaica carrot dangling nicely for the end of the year.

Its taken a long time but it finally looks like we are in the home straight. Hopefully time to be rewarded.

Is the latest update an April fool?

This is rapidly turning into an absolute shambles and the placing is an insult. I appreciate covid is an issue but don't hide behind the mismanagement of the plant design.

Good presentation and with the current oil prices this is a buy and hold for at least this year until real value wins out. Reserves alone value the company at 5p. Just a little disappointed that they didn't confirm current production levels. Guess we will have to wait until 13th May for Q1 2021 update. Overall positive presentation.

This is my take on Q1 21 trading position based on 2800boepd and a split of 76% oil and 24% gas being the calculated ratio in the 2020 accounts.

The current Q1 Brent avg is just over $61. I have then applied a 12% discount to reflect royalties and other adjustments which is in line with 2020 figures reported last week.

Based on the above and using the realised gas price of $4.38 (last years figure) I get the net turnover of $10.5 million for Q1 against $24 million in full year 2020.

They made $6.6 million normalised EBITDA on this figure. Based on $40 million + you would expect this to be at least $15 million on low cost production and a fairly static admin cost base.

The reality is this will/should be trading 8p-10p at least on current performance, once the placing overhand has cleared. Is this the general consensus?
